sugarballs
Hey ... this seems to be the post that I make the most often but here we go. I'm going to DC this weekend and I was wondering if there were any good stores to check out for vinyl? Any help would be appreciated. kouka
Smash Records.. and there's another really close to it (name escapes me). vegan/veggie food (if you dig it): Sticky Fingers (bakery/sandwiches/AMAZING soft serve) + Asylum (rock n' roll bar type place with good food)
sugarballs
Sushi actually sounds like an AMAZING idea. I haven't had any for a while so I'll def. hit that up.
cosmonaut
Smash Records.. and there's another really close to it (name escapes me).vegan/veggie food (if you dig it): Sticky Fingers (bakery/sandwiches/AMAZING soft serve) + Asylum (rock n' roll bar type place with good food) Crooked Beat is right next door to Smash - they're both in Adams Morgan on 18th. Som Records is pretty close, on 14th and T (I think).

dntheman1
I'm pretty sure Olssons just closed, at least the one at Dupont Circle did I believe. They have a few around the area, but I'm not sure if they all closed or just the one.
t34
DuPont Olssons is toast. No loss. They had like 12 records there anyways. Second the Smash suggestion. It's really the only punk rocky one in the area. Pretty good about prices too. Crooked Beat can be a bit nuts with pricing sometimes. Beware. If you're up for a trip, Joe's Record Paradise in Rockville (North of the city) is huge. Not so punk-centric, but everything else is there in spades.
