Our good friend, Jeff, at Rocket Fuel Podcast just posted his 2nd of a 2 part series of best albums of 2008. I highly recommend listening in as Jeff has excellent taste in music. To give you an example, he gave Drag the River "You Can't Live This Way" and In the Red "Volume 1" honorable mentions, gave Lagrecia "On Parallels" #13, and gave Jr. Juggernaut "Ghost Poison" #5. He gave Andy and Justin's band, Only Thunder #15.

Besides our bands, he also loved a number of bands we love like Able Baker Fox, Smoking Popes, Gaslight Anthem, Polar Bear Club, and more.

This podcast should be on your radar. They are one of the most consistent podcasts for great, independent music.
