Guest Admin
Today’s installment of “Song of the Day” is brought to you by your's truly, Virgil Dickerson. I love Stereotyperider. I know, duh, I put out their albums. I was compelled to put them as our song of the day, because for whatever reason, they can't get a break. Even today, the band were driving up to Denver from Arizona to play TaunTaun's album release show. They had this show booked as well as what would have been a great show in South Dakota tomorrow night. I say would have, because as fate would have it, the band broke down just outside of Albuquerque and was told that they had to replace their transmission, something that would cost in the ballpark of $2,000. It absolutely sucks. The band's non-stop touring days are long gone, but even this short weekend was cursed by the rock gods. I love this album and this might be my favorite song from the album. Stereotyperider, you will be missed. I love you guys. You can find the album, “Songs in the Keys of F and U” in our store, here http://stores.channeladvisor.com/vinylhome/Store/Search.aspx?Page=1&Sort=1&key=STEREOTYPERIDER%2b%2522Songs%2bIn%2bThe%2bKeys%2bOf%2bF%2b%2526%2bU%2522. The song, “Twan Song” is the 3rd track off of “Songs in the Keys of F and U”. You can download the song here http://suburbanhomerecords.com/mediafiles/stereotyperider/audio/twonsong160.mp3 As the Song of the Day continues, you can find past installments here http://www.vinylcollective.com/category/song-of-the-day/. You will also notice that each week’s streaming player will have each Song of the Day added so that by week’s end, there will be 5 songs. We hope you like the track.
