The Wooden Birds' first album is magnolia. Fans of the AmAnSet will recognize Kenny's voice and songwriting immediately, but the arrangements on magnolia are more vocal and percussion heavy than anything he's done before. We've been wanting to work with Kenny for many years, and could not be more excited to be releasing The Wooden Birds' beautiful, addictive debut album, magnolia. The new album is due in stores May 12th, but we'll have copies of the vinyl version (on 180-gram vinyl, and including a single-use download code for the MP3s) a few weeks early visit the Barsuk shop to order your vinyl copy today.
