sickteen
Anyone else's copies of Learn The Hard Way and Sing Songs by The Druglords Of The Avenues play at 45 speed versus 33 ??
konk
I haven't gotten these yet because I didn't let Andy know my new address. I highly doubt it though. Edit: By "doubt it" I mean there's something wrong with your turntable
apeman
'Learn the Hard Way' is supposed to play at 45rpm. It even says so on the labels of the record.
konk
I stand corrected. That's surprising.
deadbeat52
yea the Copyrights plays at 45..
FullCircleHook
This album sounds great and the packaging was fantastic! I was real pleased with this release.
apeman
But some of the lyrics are missing from the insert. That's about the only flaw of the release, but a bit weird.
sickteen
But some of the lyrics are missing from the insert. That's about the only flaw of the release, but a bit weird. yes, two of the best songs even!
sickteen
Also, thanks for all the reply's. I didn't notice that it said 45 speed on the labels for the Copyrights LP initially, as I was to hyped to listen to it, and threw it on right away @ 33 speed, which wasn't happening so switched over to 45. On the new Druglords For the Avenues LP, it does say 33. Yet plays at 45. So this must of been a mistake during it's pressing.
sickteen
Any body with any info on the druglords LP ? Also one really cool thing, that I'm not sure if it has been repoted, but the Druglords for the avenues LP has a song not listed on it, it's the last song on side b, they do a cover of the replacements song favorite thing. They did a good job.
swaty327
I don't know why the song isn't listed on the tracks, it was on the CD version of the album. So good though!
