PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE WORD! WE Made a mistake about the Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground in-store today. It is at Angelo's Littleton, not Angelo's Aurora. Please help retweet this, tell anyone you know who was planning on going the correct info, email friends, and come out and see what will be a really intimate performance by Kay Kay. As great as it was seeing them last night with Dear Hunter and MeWithoutYou, they only got to play 30 minutes. Today, they will be playing for like 2 hours and plan to play every song they know.

WHAT: Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground are playing an in-store and will be playing for like 2 hours

WHY: Kay Kay are one of the greatest, small bands on the planet and they love to play music. They want to play everything they know for you.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD AND FOR YOU WORKING STIFFS, FAKE SICK AND LEAVE WORK EARLY SO YOU CAN GO TO THE INSTORE!

Anyone make it out to this? If so, how awesome was it?

it was amazing. the band sounded better on a normal pa in a store than they did at the venue the night before. They played pretty much every song they know. We filmed about an hour of it, not sure yet what we are gonna do with it. They played a few new songs too. It was completely bad ass.

then afterwards, we had kay kay over for a bbq where we drank lots of beer and ate lots of food. then later they busted out instruments and passed around the guitar. My son who is 3 grabbed his music instruments and played along. It was an unbelievable experience.

the band has a ton of great video footage and are considering putting together some kind of dvd of all the stuff. The footage might end up there. not sure yet.
