Guest Admin
THE MENZINGERS "Hold On, Dodge" 7" olive green vinyl http://stores.channeladvisor.com/vinylhome/Items/CCCP124-7 Mr Toby Red Scare and I were on the phone yesterday and he mentioned that he had 50 more copies to send us of the Menzingers' very excellent 7", "Hold On, Dodge". I know that some of you missed out on the initial 100 we had for sale; don't make the same mistake with this restock. I don't know how many more are floating around but this one will soon be history. These guys are great, this 7" is outstanding, and I encourage all of you to pick up a copy. Toby also said that he was sending the master of "American Rubicon" which will be put into production soon! thestigmachine
This is one of my favorite releases so far this year. And I didn't even know about these guys until I won a copy (on brown vinyl) in the Guess-Virgil's-Beer contest. So I just ordered the green vinyl as well. But I have two questions that I still haven't found the answer to: 1. What's the pressing info on the brown vinyl? Was it part of the first pressing or is it a second pressing? Numbers? 2. Is it supposed to sound like the band took a wrong turn and accidentally recorded it from the room next door to the studio? Ok, I may be exaggerating a little bit, but the sound coming from my copy sounds incredibly "thick". I guess it adds to the charm, but it still sounds a bit weird. Hope someone can answer!
