The Sidekick ID is a good value, though. My Sidekick 3 is falling to pieces on me and I'm due an upgrade next month, but I'm not sure if I want to stick with T-Mobile. I might just go back to a Sidekick 2. And the iPhone looks like a ripoff. It has nothing new aside from a touchscreen. It doesn't even have an AIM application. Dude, the Sidekick 3 does have a microSD slot. Also, you obviously haven't done your homework on the iPhone. Nothing new? Take a look at a video demo of the Google maps function. You'll want one for that alone, not to mention all the other functionality it has. AND you can get all kinds of third-party apps, INCLUDING AIM. ronniethebear = PWN'ing n00bz since 1980 The Sidekick 3 has a miniSD slot. Not micro. The Helio Ocean has a Google maps and GPS function, and it came out 2 months before the iPhone. And I'd rather not have to worry about downloading some new application to my phone that's likely to have bugs when my Sidekick already includes AIM. A touchscreen doesn't make a phone easier to use. loren Posted December 11, 2007 Share Posted December 11, 2007 i didnt plan on upgrading to the lx until my sidekick 3 broke. i have a good deal on my sidekick plan because ive had one for so long its just whatever minutes on top of 19.99 for unlimited internet/texts. im not willing to pay the outrageous prices for an at&t plan. plus i hate the iphones keyboard. it was between either the lx or the id. i dont really like how the id looks plus it reminds me of the sidekick 2 which i already had at one point.
