mot
Is the download that comes with the newer vinyl pressings of "Out of Step" the original EP version or the Complete Discography version? I'm partial to the earlier version, and it would be nice to have a digital version other than my ripped copy.

swankymodes
The download is for the new, remastered version of 'Out Of Step' not the old mix.
nickmango
old mix is only on the 1st and 2nd pressing.
swankymodes
The newest version with the mp3 download card is different than all the other pressings. It's part of Dischord's remastered/repressed series.
mot
old mix is only on the 1st and 2nd pressing. Oh well, a few pops and clicks is how it was meant to be heard anyway! BTW, what pressing is the white vinyl? That has the old mix as well.

And I'm basically sure the only place you can hear the original mix is on 1st and 2nd. Do you have a either of these pressings to compare? But unless there is a 3rd mix, (prior to the recent remaster) it's the same. It has the normal guitar part on "Cashing in", Ian yelling "Go! Yes,go" before the beginning of "Out of Step", the normal snare at the break in "Look Back and Laugh"...etc.
