Just wanted spread the word around that Vultures United is doing a new 7", and wanted to try a crazy idea with the whole Kickstarter site. Basically, we are trying to finance a covers 7" titled GIRLS. It will feature cover songs originally performed by female singers, only you know, done by us burly dudes. Songs range from punk ones like Bikini Kill and the X-Ray Spex to not so punk ones like Nico, Sonic Youth and maybe even Bjork. We're going to try some different things but we promise loud adult screaming and shouting, loud guitars and nothing too off the map then what we already do. Well, on most songs. Anyway, as most of you know, Kickstarter lends an opportunity for bands to reach out and offer some unique things to people who pledge towards the project. So we're offering everything from test pressings, vinyl packages, full discography packages, your name in the artwork, you choosing a song we cover, and tons of other ridiculous things that are both easy on the wallet, and others, not so much. But all defintiely fun and worth while in our super opitimistic and biased opinions.
