We had some personal stuff hit in the midst of all the preorders, so orders between July 21st and August 4th got delayed a little bit, and then orders between August 4th and 14th delayed a little bit less... but everything is all caught up now and we're regularly shipping incoming orders now. Sorry if you experienced a slight delay.

this show fucking ruled saturday night! lots of rain and it looked like it affected the number of ppl who showed up. thou sounded huge, cover of 'Aneurysm' was groovin as fuck! pg 99 was awesome, heard some ppl not expecting much out of them, they sounded really good tho for the 40min they played. bryan from thou was the second vocalist the whole set with chris, not sure why, but ill take it. he's added a nice bit of 'demented' to the set. hope to find a good vid floatin around.

PG.99 and THOU both played Washington, DC this past weekend... DURING the middle of hurricane Irene! NPR was awesomely on hand and recorded the show!

A true road warrior named Alec travelled from Maine(!) for the event too, and took some gnarly close-up footage of the bands as well. More to surface, but here's THOU covering NIRVANA (at the 2minute mark):

Last related news for now: longtime likeminded weirdo Ryan Hex is still going strong with his Hex Records / Hanging Like a Hex thing... stoked he's still writing righteous reviews after all these years. Anyway, he just dropped some science on THOU's new The Archer & The Owle megeEP including this tasty tidbit:

"Thou keeps their massive sludge experiments interesting, rocking, and most of all, heavy as Marty McFly's opinion of time travel. It's like Eyehategod with extra brains and just as much spite, and some cool, twisted melody to top it all off. They probably gave this away for free online already anyway, but the vinyl looks pretty cool and I think they even made a run of cassettes for this release if you're into 80's technology."

* Read the whole thing here, its great and there's plenty of other well written reviews too. No universal praise either, dawg keeps it real!

Beyond that, we're steadily selling the new releases (and reiusse) from both bands, so check em out if you haven't already:

Spaced on posting this too, found in the Philadelphia Weekly...

"Rising like a mega-aggravated beast from the abhorrent heat and lawless swamps of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Thou create sludgy black metal so massive and absorptive that not getting lost in its bone-crushing power-grip’s one helluva struggle. You’ll squirm and wriggle and throw all types of fits, but you’re doomed to suffer under the pummeling riffs and dragging, grinding beats."
