Guest
I'm thinking of getting one for listening to my records. Anyone know of a good introduction desktop model? I've read a few good things about the Little Dot I+, but have not seen too many more in that price range. Thanks for any info!!
httran
This is the place to go for headphone amps. http://www.head-fi.org/ The only downside of Head-Fi is that they tend to latch on to flavor of the month products, but they are generally very helpful. There is also a huge emphasis on beginner headphones and amps (generally in the $200+ range).
eleaf
The Firestone Audio Little Country III Tube Headphone Amp/Preamp. This little booger is the cat's ass. Since it's for your computer, the tubes will take some of the harshness out of the all digital processing and introduce some nice warmth in to the sound. I have one connected to my record player and love it.
