I love grab bags. Its a fun way to expose myself to artists/bands I probably would have never came across.
-
Sweet, Jet Set and Washing Machine are the only big holes for SY albums
-
This just made my day. I cant wait
-
I absolutely love this album. It burst out the gate kicking out jams and then settles down a bit. Not sure if I am going to buy this though, I already have a press from years ago
-
I enjoy myself some kinda out there experimental ideas but...... hot damn this really takes the cake for pretentious schlock
-
Thanks for the heads up

I cant get INTUNE to work on any record for some reason.

Basically any Dick's Pick for Grateful Dead. They really shed light on why there were deadheads that would just follow the band around on tour.

I would love to have this, but its way too expensive. Also while I have plenty of 7"s I tend not to play them much because flipping every couple minutes gets old real fast. Throw these on an LP at a decent price and I would be happy to grab it

I would like to get new versions of some of their albums, but those prices are a bit crazy right now.

Its like I am 15 all over again

I have been a TMBG fan for a very long time so I went ahead and jumped on the Premium membership even though I am part of the Asbestos record sub. $250 is a lot of money, but the Johns deserve it for all the great music over the decades.

I got this because I love The Beatles and FL. I love the artwork, but the interpretations of the songs are definitely...... interesting. Most of all it just makes me want to listen to Sgt Pepper

Sad to hear some people had problems with the latest Box. Mine sounds fantastic, there is a small out of surface noise but its pretty minor on mine. I actually had more surface noise on the previous 2 sets
-
Holy shit, I love Bedhead. Numero has really been knocking it out of the park lately
-
Interesting that they may not have sent out tracking numbers to some people. Maybe I will have a surprise in my mail this week

PopMarket Mono Deal #2 sold out in less than 5 minutes...I got the email, clicked the link, logged in...and sold out already...why have a deal if you have so little that you sold out in 5 minutes?
Seems like a joke to me...pretty pissed off.
Now back in stock...for the moment.
Well we dont really know how much they had to sale. Obviously the demand especially for those albums is incredibly high so its possible that once the word got out there was a huge crush on the site.

It doesn't sound bad. It sounds like Morning Glory has always sounded: loud. There will never be a good (technically speaking) sounding version of this unless they remix it, which they won't.
I'm just happy this is available on vinyl again
Im in the same boat as you. In fact they seemed to double down on the loudness in the remastering, but I read a response from someone involved and they basically said that it was an artistic reason in the first place. I may not have wanted it that way, but I guess I wasnt involved in the creation so I dont really have a choice in the matter.
Im just happy there are more presses of the album out in the wild now

I got both the RC and regular version of this album and I have to say that I am a bit disappointed. Not in the album, but in the records. They both have a slight warp, but I could live with that if that was all it was. The surface noise on both is atrocious even after being cleaned although I think the retail is slightly better. I tend to listen to my records with headphones so if there is any part where the loudness cant drown out the surface noise it makes it very hard to listen to. I know Ryan does his best and the RC is not about making a profit, but I might have to send an email about it.

I have listened to the first two albums, Revolver, and Sgt Pepper and all of them sound phenomenal. Very clear full sound and no surface noise at all. In fact this whole box is incredibly well made, they didnt skimp on anything. I really feel it sets the bar for vinyl sets

This is great news. I have a few of their records but I find that although they look nice they are not particularly pressed all that well. I have more noticeable surface noise on them than most many of my other albums. B&S is one of my favorite bands so I am really excited

This is fantastic news I love Promise Ring and JTB

$100 yikes. That price seems a bit extreme. I will just wait and hope the price drops at some time
