  2. Who bitches about too many days of football?

Seriously.  TNF is like a gift from the football gods.

How about my Giants though?  Two good games in a row... didn't think I'd see that until the second half of the season.  Larry fucking Donnell coming out of no where this year.  All the preseason talk was about how we had 0 talent at TE.

  3. Anheuser Busch InBev says they're not satisfied with the way the NFL is handling domestic violence issues yet they're still a consistent sponsor in Floyd Mayweather fights; a guy with 7 such charges.

Jon Stewart nailed this point last night.  They sell a product that undoubtedly increases the chances of domestic violence, yet want to climb up on their high horse.

  4. One of my leagues starts 2 RB with 1 Flex (return yds and PPR) I've stocked up on RB depth, help me choose three from the following:

    L. Bell (PITT)

    Z. Stacy (STL)

    CJ Spiller (BUFF)

    C. Johnson (NYJ)

    R. Jennings (NYG)

    D. Woodhead (SD)

Thinking of starting the first 3 as Spiller has been doing well with return yds. BUT Jennings is going up against a fairly soft HOU D (JJ Watt aside) Thoughts?

Bell and Stacy for sure.  I think Jennings is a good start at flex.  As a Giants fan, I fully expect JJ Swat to fuck up Eli's day significantly.  If they are smart they will lean on Rashad and throw a bunch of screens and shorts passes to him as well.

  5. I'm in a bit of a mess. My weekly match-up is going to be close no matter what I do, but based on projections, I might win the "Poor Coaching Trophy" no matter who I bench.

I think I have my line up set, but would be curious to get other takes on it. My coaching is based on match-ups as opposed to projected points.

    RBs:

    Demarco Murray

    Eddie Lacy

    Knile Davis

    Chris Ivory

    Reggie Bush

    WRs:

    Alshon Jeffrey

    Mohammed Sanu

    Larry Fitzgerald

    Julian Edelman

    TY Hilton

So who do I start in each position and who is my flex player?

Dalton is my QB, and if Green sits, I plan on starting Sanu and Jeffrey (good matchup against the Jets) at WR and Murray and Davis at RB.

Then I plan on putting TY Hilton at flex because, well JAX.

    Thoughts?

Definitely start Lacy and Murray.  Jamaal might play so watch that for Kniles.  If Jamaal sits, Flex Kniles for sure.

Alshon and Edleman, assuming it is PPR.  If not PPR, Alshon and Sanu (if Green is out), or TY (if Green plays)

  6. Don't trade AP.  Benjamin is the best player on that list, but I doubt you have 3 other roster spots you are willing to drop.  I'd maybe try to get Benjamin and a better RB than Moreno.  Don't get suckered in by 1 good week out of him.

For the Rams D, I think the point was made above.  As good as their pass rush is, they will be on the field A LOT this season and will inevitably get scored on.  Not enough big play potential from the secondary to make up for it.  I'd stick with the 49ers who will be getting some studs back later in the season.

  7. Yea bro, continue to sidestep the simple point that I've made—you have no idea what happened in that elevator.

Not once have I said that Ray Rice did nothing so I'm not sure what your above statement refers to. I've simply said that you, just like me, are completely ignorant to what transpired. I guess some folks just aren't too keen on admitting ignorance.

Had no idea that there were so many Roger Cossack's on this board.

I don't know if something crawled up your ass today, or you're always such a doucebag.

There is a video of Ray Rice hitting his girlfriend.  I think his suspension is too lenient.  You say that my opinion is tiresome.  No I was not there, but there were video tapes that captured it and it has been reported for months that he hit her.

Not exactly sure what your issue is.

  8. even with that said.  he passed 70 tests after his previously failed test.  then with the one he failed, his cup b sample passed.  how does that happen?  shouldn't cup a and cup b if taken from the same sample both be the same?  their system is flawed or an error happened while administrating the test.

It was in his system either way, which meant he had either a) smoked at some previous time, probably a long time beforehand or just a tiny bit a while before or B) was around people smoking it.

Either way it was not a smart move on his part given his position int he NFL drug program.

  9. Ray Rice's punishment was way too lenient.  I understand it's his first offense, but fuck that, give him a 4-6 game suspension, minimum.

Gordon's violation is, in my opinion, minor and only there due to an out-dated rule.  Having said that, the guy brought it on himself being a continual moron.  When you violate the same rule 4 times, you kind of have it coming.  While I do think it's a shame he will miss this season, it is totally his own fault.  Him and Blackmon are fucking idiots.  So many people would kill to be in their position, and these guys just throw it away to smoke pot and get drunk.

  10. I can read this better. I think that given your spot it wasn't so bad. RGIII may have been a stretch at 5th, I feel that around the 60th pick DeSean could have still been there, and if you snaked Jordan Cameron on the 63rd pick. Maybe that wasn't the case last night. I just don't have much trust in RGIII this year. I do like Wheaton though.

Here is my draft from last night. I was 9th pick in a 10 team standard league

    Lacy

    Marshall

    Antonio Brown

    A. Ellington

    C. Patterson

    Gerhart

    Pitta

    Kaepernick

    Vereen

    Maclin

    Woodhead

    Rams

    Gordon

    Kelce

    Walsh

I got sloppy at the end because I had to watch the baby for a bit, but I think my team is pretty average.

My league is full of people who make a lot of reach picks.  It started with Peyton going in the 2nd round, followed by Brees & Rodgers, then Luck went in the 3rd round, and everyone else started grabbing QBs after that.  RG3 was the only decent QB left at the time I grabbed, so I needed to pull that trigger.  I'm completely satisfied with my WRs, RB2 and QB are my biggest concerns if RG3 can't get it together.  I have some later season potential on my bench though.  Hoping Kelvin Benjamin can do work, and that if Steven Jackson stays on the sidelines Freeman could end up being a stud.  For now I'm hoping either Gerhart or Jennings can provide at least some consistency.  I think Ertz should have a decent year at TE but I definitely just missed out on some of the guys I wanted more.  Like I said though, all the mock drafts in the world couldn't prepare me for this draft with the way the people make their picks.

I think your team is pretty strong for starters.  Marshall/Brown will get you A LOT of points, and Patterson has tons of potential. Lacy and Ellington are pretty solid RBs as well.
