  1. yep but not in the planned way, it said 'after 10 seconds you'll be redirected,' that didn't happen. refreshed and waited another 2 minutes and now I'm just stuck on my Order Details page. but got both a Paypal receipt email and a Spacelab order receipt emailed.

  2. Edit: Gonna repeat my earlier question, did anyone see the Morricone soundtrack that was supposed to be out? Not sure if it was just a small release that kind of flew under the radar or if it just didn't happen.

definitely saw one shop with a few copies this afternoon, but of the three I went to, that's the only one I noticed it at, so it's out there.

  3. my order from this sale showed up today after a week and a half of sitting at the local sort facility. Their process continues to fascinate me. I ordered the recent Jimmy Eat World reissues, they showed up in a piece of cardboard folder over into a box/sleeve, entirely wrapped in tape. The soft edges of the box probably didn't help avoid the bumps and dings.

The most intriguing part is whoever packed it shipped the record and sleeve outside of the jacket (these came unsealed, as I believe they did from anywhere they were ordered, like Clarity that I ordered from Urban in just the polybag). Just makes me wonder why you would go through that trouble and then put it in a makeshift mailer.

  4. just got my shipping confirmation for GotG now and I had to have ordered pretty much the final day. I think there were about 6 copies left then, that was December 29th so I'd guess these should all be rolling out.

on another note, and maybe I missed the discussion, but I didn't realize the "Batman: The Animated Series" die-cut single was limited. I guess I always misinterpreted these two bits together as meaning it would always stay in print. looks like it's gone from the store now.

"After the 7-inches' resounding success and cries for "More Batman!" we're excited to release a 12" Die-Cut version of the single as an open edition available throughout the holiday season.

In an effort to fulfill as many orders as possible before the holidays, we have already pressed 1,000 copies of each version that are ready to ship out in the next few weeks. Once those copies are accounted for, the Die-Cut will become a Pre-Order that will be re-pressed as needed and shipped out after the New Year."

  5. Just got a shipping confirmation.  2 tracking numbers for 3 records, both from Amarillo, TX.  Silly Hastings.

I've had that happen too, on an order about a year ago. I think they create the labels from headquarters. When it happened then, one ended up coming from a store near Boise, ID and the other a store near Walla Walla, WA.

I've only ever ordered from them twice in the past, but both times, the records were just shipped between a flattened piece of cardboard that had been taped closed. I think only one item of all three orders showed up without some manner of bend on the corners. Hoping for better when this new order arrives but my expectations aren't high, especially if they're dealing with a large volume of new orders at the same time.
