Yeah it was a framework that he had for an album. It was more of an accident that he ended up predicting Trump. He recorded alot of the album in Chicago and the majority of folks being American. Plus, Gorillaz has been the most successful of all his bands in America. The Fall was made during his PB tour. Anyways a good interview about his concept of the album:

Well if that so he didn't try his best. Because I've listened to the half of an album and only Busted and Blue sent shivers on my spine(saturnz barz ok too)

He was making this record back in 2015. Trump wasn't even the Republican candidate then.

    O.K.

But why he went "all American"(even said OUR country in one of the iterviews) and always says, that this album "about the night after"(omg)

  3. It's not Gorillaz. There is no 2D's magic voice, no good bass lines from Murdoc, No sick drum beats from Russel no interesting guitar from Noodle. +Cover this all with sause made of BORING music, throw in some cllab artists, who sounds out of place(most of the time) and you will have this album.

I won't be surprised if Albarn wrote and recorded this album in 2 month just to bait trustful liberals on hot political theme.

Am I the only one who isn't feeling any of these songs? None of them really sound very 'Gorillaz' to me

You know before seeing SaturnZ BarZ video(I didn't hear 3 other songs before(hallelujah money sucked big one)) I had a feeling, that it's gonna suck SO really hard(DD and 1st half of PB one of my favourite pieces of music). But when I saw and listened to it It felt really good! Yeah I prefer "Tomorrow comes today" more than "Rock Da House" but god damn Damon has changed so hard over these years and his music did and it's just fun because you never know what to expect from these Gorillaz rascals.)

I have an original, and it's well worth the price if you can find a reasonable seller. The sound on it is fantastic.

I would totally buy original if I could, but thanks to political world conflicts In last 2 years $ became two times more expensive to Ruble(it was $1 to 32RUB, now it's $1 to 63+new law adding 18% to every transaction) and I simply cant afford to buy $150-200($300-400 converted to old $ cost)(+$15 shipping+18% tax) records. When your salary is $700 per month :D. So I hope and pray for at least $40 repress)

Actually my local shop had a newly released bootleg of that at last years RSD. At first I thought it was RSD release, was a pretty decent pressing too

I heard about bootleg. But I prefer not to buy them(the quality is too unstable).

+I hope that they will do something special for one of the best albums ever made(imo)

I can't take any of this seriously to the point I'm convinced this is a troll account. Shit dude, Jeff Rosenstock released one of the best albums of last year and it's basically a punk rock Abbey Road.

Well I didn't hear it. like I may miss many "good bands" so I've pointed, that I'm judjing from what I've heard in 2016: albums from BIG and SEMI-BIG bands. For real dude, nobody heard about Jeff R in my country).

I disagree with both of these sentiments (2016 speaking in terms of music releases, not celebrity deaths or politics or whatever)

    I should clarify myself maybe?

I cannot remember a single album from big\semi-big ~punk band that would be GREAT FROM ALL POINTS in 2016

Blink-182, AM!, JEW, Bayside, ADTR released good albums, but not GREAT

Sum 41 is great musically and YC is good too, but they sound like shit(I mean recorded/mastered)

GD , SP and Billy Talent have average albums at least.

But holy shit! Blood Album is like Heaven sent. I remember listening to leaked version on 1st of january in crappy quality and I was like "Wow!, it really sounds so good, so fresh and interesting". And last time I had this feeling when I first heard Keep You from PBTT(oh god that album)
