Next Friday RFC offices will be open, selling 700+ distro titles, rare and out of print records. This thread is to talk about it and maybe talk about picking stuff up for people who can't go. Shoot
-
Nah, I sold off more than half my subscription this year bc I thought most of it wasn't very goodAm i the only one who thinks that no sleep passed it's prime and going downhill? Losing la dispute must be tough... Not that the new album was listenable

Had already emailed them dawg, just the one time I ever had a grievance with them and someone else had something similar in this thread soTopshelf has an email that they probably check more than this message board, dawg.

I ordered this with Prawn and Field Mouse and combined shipping with You Blue It but You Blue It shipped alone

Is this the lathe? Would love for someone to snag me one

Brb gotta go check to see if I'm missing any (other than that same AGBPOL release due to also having an original).
Edit: Also didn't get the Nai Harvest 12" because I have an original.
I do not have this actually
-
The only Topshelf releases from this year I don't have are Diamond Youth and Have You Seen My Prefrontal Cortex, and I only passed on AGBPOL because I have the first press
-
Every interaction I've had with them suggests that a good sounding product matters to them and not just gimmicky variants, so I doubt they'd go ahead with any variants they didn't trustThat's good to hear. Hopefully they did the same with the GITD Cut Teeth.
-
Topshelf assured me they sorted out surface noise concerns before going ahead with the glitter pressing
-
HehNothing too soon, it's gonna be a really cool package worth the wait though, promise.
-
Was wondering what happened to Daytrader!
Sucks I missed out on the test press.
PM me, I might be able to put one more up for sale for you
-
They are, they share members with Visitors as wellI think these guys are from SLC. I see their name as an opening band a lot, but I've never listened to them. I'll have to check this out. I'm always down to support SLC bands that release vinyl.
-
Well now I'm glad I already have the Power of Failing, these prices suck. I'll still be buying EndSerenading though
-
Hi guys thanks for checking this out! This is my little label so I appreciate all the help I can get!

Hi! my label Inorganic Records is proud to announce that we will be releasing Heartless Breakers' Prescriptions on 7' vinyl. Limited to 250 random color copies, the release is available to order now at inorganicrecords.limitedrun.com, with a 10% discount with the code "THXBBS" for the first 50 orders.
-
It's from 2013. All the splits were supposed to be fulfilled by the end of that year but there were recording delays and plant delays and stuff beyond RFCs controlwhat subscription are we talking about? and how Do I sign up?
-
If anyone wants my subscription copy I'll probably be getting rid of that
-
Already have the first press AGBPOL, can't wait for Sundials (though release date is November so I would be shocked if it went up this month), and I'll probably get LITE because Topshelf, hah.
These are exactly my thoughts on those releases

"Later this year, Dischord will release Fugazi’s First Demo.
In January 1988, after only ten shows, Fugazi decided to go into Inner Ear Studio to see what their music sounded like on tape. They tracked 11 songs, ten of which were ultimately dubbed to cassette tape and distributed free at shows, with the band encouraging people to share the recording.
The only song from the session that has been formally released was “In Defense of Humans,” which appeared on the State of the Union compilation in 1989. Now, some 26 years later, Dischord is releasing the entire demo including the one song (“Turn Off Your Guns”) that wasn’t included on the original cassette. The record has been mastered by TJ Lipple and will be available on CD and LP+Mp3.
This release will also coincide with the completion of the initial round of uploads to the Fugazi Live Series website. Launched in 2011, the site now includes information and details on all of Fugazi’s 1000+ live performances and makes available close to 900 concert recordings that were documented by the band and the public."
Probably more info soon

They have the CIC, would it be a dick move to cancel and reorder using the code?
Probably, hope Topshelf puts more stuff up I want this month.
I have no idea what you want but A Great Big Pile Of Leaves, Sundials, and LITE releases will probably go up this month
