I have a copy of 'False Cathedrals' on black that I was mainly looking to sell but if you have other things from that era that I'm interested in i'd consider a trade.
-
Scott, you don't have insider info of them playing closer to Cleveland do you? I have tickets to this too but wouldn't mind selling them to go to a closer show.
-
This is great news. I'm more impressed that theprp still exists. Haven't thought of that site in years.

Cap'n Jazz was probably one of the bands that has blown me away the most. I really wasn't expecting much...bad attitudes, low energy, short set but its was just the complete opposite of that. Everyone was really into it and they played about everything. Really worth the trip.
Most disappointing was probably The Good Life at the Grog. He was pretty drunk and just didn't sound good.

Sports. I hated sports for the longest time but know I watch every Cavs, Browns, and Indians game (I see a lot of losing). Still can't get into soccer or hockey, though.
Oh, and hot wings.

Miracle of 86 - S/T

Culture Clash is pretty good. It has a good mixture of new and used but it's overpriced.
About a mile or so away is Ramalama and that's a decent store as well just not a large used selection.
The allied record exhange that's on Dorr(?) by airport highway is the best of the record exchanges and has a sizable punk selection - compared to what else is in town.

I was able to see Cap'n Jazz, Braid twice, and now The Promise Ring? Just a great time to love the music I do.

Not knowing what I was going to get surely made the unwrapping suspenseful. Thankful to get a green!

Give me a four pack of Hopslam and the night is usually an embarrassment. So delicious yet so many bad memories.
Hopslam is fucking amazing! +1 for mentioning a beer that doesn't suck lol PS what bars in Cleveland do you hit up? I already drank thought Melt and Winking Lizard's beer selection for the most part!
I usually hit up Melt (they have Ithaca's Flower Power currently which is a fav) the Lizard, and sometimes i go down to the Tremont Taphouse or even the Beer Engine in lakewood. Since it's more towards to the holiday, I remember Deagan's having the most winter warmers so i'll probably be spending some time there. I did like the IPA I had from Market Garden Brewery so i may try that place again.

I didn't love a lot this year, unfortunately. I do think these albums were pretty great:

Crash of Rhinos - Distal
Football, Etc. - The Draft
Owen- Ghost Town
Trouble Books & Mark McGuire - S/T
Circle Takes the Square - Decompositions etc...
David Bazan - Strange Negotiations
-
Past Worn Searching repress next??? Will be buying this, though.

So intense. I went in not knowing much about it and was grateful for it. Going to be in the top three of the year.
-
I've been watching the ending to 'I'll take You Everywhere' from various shows on youtube for the past half-hour and I need to witness that, not on youtube, at some point.
-
I never received the Growns Up album either, even after countless e-mails. Worst label ever!
-
Haha. I wish...and if I did it wouldn't be on this list!
