i had to run the record store... i wanted to at least try and catch let me run, but i figured the show would be over by the time i got there so i just bailed completely. for serious though we need to do a hang out.

hey all. devildance reocrds just sent its newest release into production. we are proud to be releasing the debut s/t 7" for the New Jersey band LET ME RUN... which should be out in late November... susequently followed by their first full length LP entitled "meet me at the bottom" which features guest vocals by brian fallon from gaslight on 2 of the tracks.

LET ME RUN are a new band (formed in 2007)... with influences like HOT WATER MUSIC, GALSIGHT ANTHEM, THURSDAY and ELLIOTT, they seem to embody all the best parts of new jersey's punk rock tradition. since their inception theyve been tearing up basements and stages as Jerseys best kept secret, but have plans for a January tour... that i think, frankly, will make them a household name. when we got the masters back we were floored by how good they were. you're going to want to check this band out...

hey guys... girls... etc. so as of this morning every single last SOS 7" is sent. goddamn it just felt so GOOD to say that. i just want to say thanks. to everyone that was frustrated about shipping times, to everyone that wasnt for understanding. ill be the first to say that it couldve, and should've been WAAAAY faster. and for the 90th time im sorry about all the hold ups... but ill be godamned if im not gonna fix it. i just want all of you to know that all your patience and and support has been so huge for us as a label... especially one on the comeback. and i cant express how sincere i am about those statements. seriously thank you. and i assure you, the next bunch of mailings will be a HELL of a lot smoother. the gaslight records are officially all sold out, and there is a repress in the works including a VC exclusive. but more importantly we have a bunch of other stuff in the works right now by a a few other local artists who we think are amazing. i put up some new songs on the devildance myspace page from a few of our new bands a couple of which are downloadable. i would recommend a listen

hey. ladies... gentlemen. one last update. i shipped about 45 more orders this week. there are about 40 more orders that need to go out. they WILL ALL be sent before the weekend. i know a lot of you guys are frustrated with the shipping time... and its totally understandable... please understand that it isnt like i just dont feel like going to the post office. like i said before (and i hope its not too cryptic) i have a 9 to 5. and a business (record store). and a label. and its strictly me alone packing them up, printing labels, sorting records, and shipping, while simultaneously making sure that the orders don't get mixed up. all of this is really time consuming. so while i do apologize... please understand that i am trying my best to get them out in a timely manner. again i understand your frustration... and i am working on ways to steamline shipping time for the future releases, and i will have more help from the other dudes in the future with this stuff. but for now, please bear with me... im not just being a slackass... i swear. but rest assured that if you ordered one of these it WILL be in the mail by the weekend. apologies/thanks again -mike

aw man... i saw them on that same tour in nj, and thought they were incredible. i actually picked up the laser lpthat day... i hear a lot of dc influence too... namely some fugazi type guitar parts... its seriously one of my favorite records. put me down for one.

hey all. its mike from devildance. i just wanted to update everyone on here with the shipping status. right now im balancing a 9 to 5, running my record store, packing up stuff, and making sure everyone gets the right shit for their orders. so please bear with me... in terms of where you are located geographically... it doesnt matter... im shipping by order numbers. i started at #1 and i just shipped out some more this morning... i think we're up to about 70 right now. i have tomorrow off of work and will most likely knock out another at least 50. so all the package deals will be sent by the end of the week. im really sorry about the hold ups... but like i said, i have A LOT of shit going on. ill probably drop another post at the beginning of next week, hopefully telling you that ALL the rest of the stuff shipped. meanwhile please be patient as im cracking at it as fast as possible. also, if your order says processing... that doesnt mean anything... dont worry.

on a side note. im really happy you guys are feeling the screened covers. i actually designed, and hand screened all of them personally. i spent literally three days in my basement just cranking those out... and it feels good to know your work is appreciated.... so thanks. plus i mean, anyway to make it feel a little less manufactured in my opinion is a good thing.

anyway just an update on shit... again, im sorry this is taking so long. but rest assured they ARE coming. i promise. ill try and keep you guys updated when shipping is all done. and thanks again for supporting.

hello everyone... its mike from devildance records. the sink or swim demos are starting to ship today. we hope to get at least half of them out today and a bunch more tomorrow. sorry its been a while getting everything sorted out and ready to go... and thanks for being patient. to everyone that though they might have not gotten one. if you got a confirmation you should be getting em... but i guess we wont be 100% until we actually pack every order. if something happens and for some reason you didnt get one... or you didnt get a confirmation... you will obviously be refunded. to geezfools... sorry for the lack of communication... but im aware of your situation, and am trying my damndest to get you a package. if it doesn't work out i promise we will make it up to you... but i will send you a personal email about this. thanks again everyone for you patience... you wont be dissapointed.
