  1. Lots of cool systems in this thread. My setup: Onkyo TX-8050 Fosgate Audionics 4125 Technics SL-1200 MK2 w/Shure M97E Polk Lsi9 Mac Mini for digital tunes and video
  2. Wow. Sorry to hear that. My replacements are good EXCEPT The Photo Album has a nasty scratch all the way across "A Movie Script Ending." I have emailed them twice now requesting a replacement and have heard nothing back. I'm about ready to dispute the box set charges on my credit card. Really hope I don't have to resort to that.
  3. Listened to We Have the Facts and Forbidden Love so far. I thought both sounded good. I didn't compare them to the mislabeled set, but I'm not going to unless I think something sounds bad.
  4. Just received mine. Furnace Record Pressing for me as well. No note like the one pictured from the CA pressings, just the replacements in individual sleeves and then all replacements placed into a bag. Going to give some a spin now and see how they sound. Also, Sapst, I may be interested in those sleeves if you end up making them. I'll keep an eye on this thread.
  5. Got this from AiR: "We will notify customers as soon as we know when the replacements will be ready to ship." Glad they totally ignored my question/point about Transatlanticism being 33 rpm instead of 45...
  6. I emailed AiR about Transatlanticism being 33 rpm instead of 45 rpm. No response yet, but if I get something I'll fill everyone in. My Stability EP is maybe only slightly warped... looks pretty good to me. (I assume that everyone is referring to the record labelled The Photo Album when they say that the Stability EP is warped?) I can only hope that they don't half-ass the replacements. If they are of the same quality as what I have now I'll be quite satisfied. Still pretty happy with the set overall, and relieved to finally have something in hand, even with the mislabels.
  7. Got mine today. I am really happy with the quality of the box and the sleeves. I have the label mixup (seems like everyone does). No damage from shipping. I had the black line on a couple of mine, scratched it off one of them easily without damaging the sleeve, haven't messed with the other one yet. I've listened through The Forbidden Love EP and We Have the Facts so far and I am really happy with the sound quality on each. I get a little crackle/surface noise here and there, but it's infrequent and doesn't bother me. I think these two have sounded great. As far as the digital files go, I'm pretty sure they are not the remasters. When I put the files in iTunes and looked at the "date modified" in the file info, some of the songs showed a date in 2010. If they were the remasters I'd think they wouldn't have any date before late 2012.
