Not sure if anyone even knew that this was being reissued, I sort of stumbled over a PO on amazon back in April. It was supposed to be released over a month ago and kept getting pushed back. I got a notice from Amazon that it shipped yesterday, so if you PO'd it, it is coming soon!

Just picked up NWA's "Straight Outta Compton" 20th anniversary edition - $5.33 after code.

I'm not entirely convinced that this is as detrimental to Best Buy as some people think.  There have been a ton of people who order records hoping for the $10, but they end up being shipped.  That's money for Best Buy that they might not have gotten otherwise.  They've earned a bunch of new customers.  I'm sure I'm not the only one in this thread who had never bought vinyl from BB before.  They're also moving a lot more product in a market that I'm sure they've not been very competitive in.  Plus, these orders are also helping them update their inventory counts, which we see every time something changes to "sold out online."

 

In short, there are plenty of reasons to believe that this program, even when "exploited," is still beneficial to BB.  Personally, I believe that even with the "exploit" BB's benefits still outweigh the costs.

Package came today. I actually got the Maroon press and Antichrist Superstar on red vinyl! I guess I'll have to add "check HT" to my morning routine.

I'm so dumb, this whole time I was picturing clear brown vinyl, not very exciting. These, on the other hand, are fucking awesome!

Just got an email that my order shipped. I wasn't notified that either the FOB or MM were out of stock. I guess I'll see when the box comes. But just out of curiosity, Travis, any idea what's going on?

There was also a Marilyn Manson Antichrist Superstar that I threw in my order with Masked Intruder.  It looks like the Marilyn Manson is gone now too.  With my luck it was some sort of glitch and I'll have paid $5 to ship one $13 record.  Yipee...
