Love this band and so excited for the new release but was really hoping this album would make me stop hating the fact I paid for a No Sleep 2016 sub. Definitely some cool touring possibilities with their new label mates now. Can't wait to hear this.

Please confirm a Sing the Sorrow repress. :'(

Cool to see the d side etching on the colored variants looks good. You can't even make it out on the splatter variant.

Already bought 'Some Are Lakes' from someone on here. Just looking for 'Cloak and Cipher' now!

Does anyone have any information on the break up or any side projects from the band? I know it's been years, but they never even publicized their breakup. Gareth has such an amazing voice, I can't imagine him not pursuing music further.

I emailed the label and they said they have no plans of repressing it, but wouldnt rule it out in the future.

Loose cartridge! Took it out and tightened everything and it works fine now. You can close this. Thanks!

So out of the blue, my turntables audio will only come out of one speaker, while the other will just produce a hum. I thought maybe the receiver in my room had something faulty going on, so I hooked it up to the big sound system in my living room and i'm yielding the same results.
The receiver in my room has to go through a preamp. The receiver in my living room has a phono input so I dont need the preamp, so i'm ruling out a preamp problem.
Any ideas as of what might be going on?
I have tested both setups, and both speakers work on either set up when listening to the radio or tv. It's only when the turntable is plugged into the receiver that only one speaker will output music, while the other one hums.
I'm stumped! Please help.

Couldn't pull the trigger on the 50 dollar bundle. Happy with the clear with gray haze though!

Remember When is filled songs of nostalgia, hindsight and the constant struggle of expectations versus reality. Weiss’s signature power-pop is still at the forefront but there’s a new, subdued and laidback coloring to much of these songs. Even a heartbreaking and touching rendition of Robyn’s dance floor classic, “Call Your Girlfriend,” also graces the EP. One can easily imagine Weiss finding inspiration for these songs on a crisp California night with a group of friends gathered around a bonfire. Nights that music like this is created by and for.

they have like 8 copies of this at my local ht, so if anyone wants one and doesnt want to have to pay exuberant shipping costs, hit me up and pay at cost + shipping. youd be doing me a favor by making sure this doesnt stick around too long.and cause them not to receive future releases due to having this clog it up
If its a different color than the coke bottle clear, i'm in.

man, tough crowd.
Honestly wasn't expecting it to be like this. Haha. But yeah, I respect everyones opinions.

Vinyl finallyyyyy came in. First time ive had a record kind of beat up from the post office =/ But its fine. Slightly warped but definitely playable. And it sounds amazing!
-
Anyone else having trouble getting into this album? Hmm.
-
Listened to my red copy again today. Ugh, horrible. Which really sucks because this is a AOTY candidate for me.
Hope they repress this as a 2xlp. Same with B&C-TTWTWM.

A different "deluxe" package seems to be up, not too exciting..
http://labs.topspin.net/artists/theavettbrothers/store/us/
- Deluxe CD or Vinyl
- Limited Edition 18"x24" litho
- 2 exclusive demo versions of "Apart From Me" and "Open Ended Life"
- "Another Is Waiting" Music Video
- "Between a Magpie and a Dandelion" - Video highlights from sound check
Yeah im curious as to what makes this 12 dollars extra... hmm. Doesn't really clarify what the 'deluxe' vinyl part of it is.

Looks like the official preorder page is live, and no deluxe package. Just a few shirts and tote bags. My wallet is happy. LP is 22.99, so as of right now, Amazon seems to be the place to get it.
Came to post the same thing. Really wish there was a deluxe though.
