Got TWIN in the mail today. Definitely not worth what I paid for it, but I love the consistency of the artwork between the two, like the sleeves with TWIN on the back instead of the ixora flower. Again, probably shouldn't have spent anywhere near what I did on this but I love both of these records separate and together.

I hope this sticks around for a few weeks. Just had to put a lot into my car and can't pay for this just yet. Fingers crossed.

Got the CD box in today. Everything is really nice, and they threw in two extra posters and a Kill For Love CD.

To me it's worth it just because I love it that much but yeah, it's not ok. The only reason Ixora was priced so high was because it was also helping with the costs of producing the record. Not sure why everything is so expensive now that it's out.

Does anyone have a blue splash that they're willing to sell? I never ended up grabbing that one.

Got my blue in the mail today. Mine are mainly clear with a little bit of blue swirl thrown in there. My C/D is almost entirely clear. Not what I was expecting but I still like it.

Ordered that CD Box set and will definitely pick up the LP one early next year. Lost River was strange, but it had parts that I really loved, plus I'm an unashamed Ryan Gosling fanboy.

 

On a side note, I missed out on the Into The Black flexi. If anyone has one they're willing to sell or would want to trade for the Tell Me flexi from earlier, please let me know!

Digital downloads up somewhere, or only with the code from your order? I don't see any links in my confirmation email.

There's a SUPER small slip of paper that has a code you'll type in to download it from bandcamp. Mine was inside the left sleeve of the jacket. If you can't find yours I can just send you over the tracks from the Appendix.

 

That being said, I really enjoyed the Appendix. A lot more low-key and laid back than I was expecting, and Greg's remix was really great. Gave the track a whole new feel.

This really is an unfortunate turn of events, what with this album being so so good and the regular version coming out so nicely. As much as i like the deluxe packaging the jacket just feels a bit cheap, its looking like everyones lyric booklet is ripped or glued in (ive also seen some say their book didnt include mexican war streets), and this c/d mix up is really a punch to the gut. For me at least, those extra songs were the main reason i went with the deluxe, they aren't included in the download and not having a cd player are essentially still unobtainable. That being said Michael who is handling their mail order responded quickly, and even gave me an address if I wanted to send back the extra a/b disc.

The songs are included in the download. It's 19 tracks. Build up that FLAC library, brother.

Yeah, I've seen this in a few different Hot Topic stores and it was always white, so I'm sure that's what it still is. For $15 that's a steal!

Got mine in the mail today. Everything looks good. Creepy EP color is really nice, and the maroon is transparent. Haven't had a chance to spin yet, but I'm sure it'll sound great.
