I read on YouTube comments and the amazon product is currently unavailable because of customer complaints, some YouTube users are saying there are problems with the pressing of the album.
I see on amazon that there are two options, nirvana bleach and the nirvana bleach deluxe edition. Anyone know which one is bad or maybe if neither of them are?
Thank you.

It's definitely warped, but the needle is riding it and it sounds okay, so you should be fine as is. I wouldn't mess with it and risk making things worse, in terms of the record itself. As for the player/arm/needle I think it should be fine, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
I've heard that the trick where people tape a dime on the head of the cart wears the record out faster due to the additional weight. I don't think it'll hurt or break the needle. If anything it might wear slightly faster, but the difference is negligible. Your needle is made or either sapphire or diamond and the record of PVC, so yeah.
Like that other person said though, maybe the needle suspension could be of concern? I doubt it's enough to be worth worrying over.
When you say it might wear slightly faster do you mean the record or the needle? Thank you

So the only problem is the sound? It sounds totally fine and normal. Just thought maybe it was bad for the needle or something. Thank you so much I feel better now.

Is this record too wobbly and why does it matter if it is? It sounds normal to me, could it damage the needle or something else if it is too wobbly?
Thank you very much.

My local record shop has the digeridoo ep in stock and I don't know if I should get it or wait for it to be reissued in a couple years. I'm low on money. Should I just get it anyway? It's like $10-$20 dollars.

What do you guys use for your records? Shelves? Baskets? I use baskets but I'm thinking about switching to shelves

I just bought two used records that crackle very much and there is visible scratches on the record. Does this damage my needle when I play them?
Thank you!

or when you have a rap single and it has edited version, unedited version, acappela, and then instrumental. lol. ugh. what do now.
-
Maybe i'll start playing full sides again. it just sucks when you have to go like out or when you have to leave unexpectedly and have to stop the song in the middle of it.
-
Does it bother anyone else when you drop the needle and you hear the song before the song you want to listen to for like 10 seconds? i like my music to flow in and out and its hard with a record player. i use to only play full sides but now i go right for songs in the middle and it just kind of sucks. any way to mentally get over this?

I think my tracking force is 1.75g if you mean the counterweight number. It's like 17.5
-
I never use the dust cover lol I will from now on. How do you clean a cartridge properly? And i guess my needle is normal from the first guys response
-
hey i just recalibrated my counterweight and i noticed that when i lower the needle as if i'm playing a record, the needle goes lower than the platter itself when i do it next to it. the records play fine but is then needle suppose to drop lower than the platter? does this matter? does this make sense to you guys? thanks.
best way to back up files?
