Thats what im thinking as well, It seems like maybe a couple hundred, if that went up. There were two runs basically and the first one didnt sell out instantly because it was released without warning at like 2am.

How many do you guys think the stores got out of the 1k? I mean its only west coast stores and it looks like most stores got around 5 each, some less, so are you guys thinking the stores got like 100-200 out of the 1k?

I work in TO and I'd be down to pick those up for the board (already scored my copies), but I just feel like it'd be such a shitshow of PMs I wouldn't know how to deal with it without looking like an asshole. I'm sure some people are going to be willing to drive there to pick them up anyway.

And I would be in for the juturna!

I think i remember someone saying that they were going to try to get more repressed, it was a bunch of pages back but its in here somewhere. They are also repressing again next year.

EDIT - I really hate when you refresh and the unavailable banner doesnt show up in the time that you are used too, my heart races and then sinks haha.

I'm mad because I called Northridge this morning asking to put them on hold and they told me they hadn't gotten them yet (they hadn't opened shipment but I knew they had them). Instead of being helpful they told me no, and when I called back 2 hours later they were all gone / on hold. Lame.

That's just rude.

I ordered all 4 vinyl on Nov 27th.

That's strange, I used ups as the shipper and everything was perfect, tracking numbers worked and everything. I would call them.

I ordered all four and received the package on Wed.

Generally the site gets all the copies they are getting at once and they all go up at at the same time. We got in some copies earlier in the week and that's what went up first. Not sure why they are trickling onto the site now.

Any reason that the thumbnails are not visible anymore on the main page? When new ones are put up would they be made visable? I do have the links but I am just curious.

Oh ok, I dont have eithe of the other presses and the picture showed it with the text on the center, I was just surprised. Like I said its not a big deal its only two songs.

Oh i meant to ask this a few days ago but does everyones B-Sides from this pressing have blank centers stickers? Doesn't even denote which side is A and B haha. I kind of like it.

haha the girls that work at my store know not to give me hot cash cause they know i have nothing to use it on. 

Aside from either guages for my girlfriend or the odd Band T (mostly just weird ones like the Eazy E american flag shirt) I never use it. Sometimes I give them to parents that are there with their kids. 

its not that, its that we were able to use hot cash on vinyl in the past, and then randomly, on one cycle of hot cash, when it was redeemable, they just pulled the entire vinyl section and said we werent allowed to use the hot cash. it was shady because they didnt tell you that vinyl would be excluded moving forward during the period you could get the hot cash, and instead just pulled a fast one and pulled it without any notice at all. so people were stuck with a bunch of hot cash they were under the impression they could use on vinyl and then when the day came to finally use them hot topic just pulled the whole vinyl section without notice.

I understand, I guess if they gave fair warning it wouldnt have been such an issue and it would have given time to get rid of the hot cash that you accrued. It is weird that they still give hotcash when purchasing vinyl but you can use it towards what you purchased to get the hot cash. But I am just glad that they do a good job of getting these top albums into the hands of the fan so I will support them.

 

I'd rather support HT then some other major distros.

the whole hot cash thing with vinyl was real shady to me and i went on a hiatus from HT, but the travis started getting all this good shit into the stores and i couldnt resist anymore. 

Its a smart business move on their end but it does kind of suck that they are taking the resurgence of vinyl popularity and making it profitable for them, but then again..thats what they are in the business for. I can't hate on them for that. I'm just glad they generally have decent pricing, they could have charged a whole lot more for these and people still would have bought them.

I guess so. but this method isn't much better to be honest. it kind of makes me want to stay away from hot topic for a while. regardless, im still gonna try my best to get these.

I know i was too but I figured my local store would get them, they typically get all new releases, but sadly they are not.

I am still able to see them but then I refreshed and couldnt. Thats the link though.
