  1. They were selling them on their site for a while, but I think they're out. I'll give it a shot though.
  2. Yeah, it's nice, just hard to store. I have a post in the sales/trade forum, but if anyone has a cardstock box they would sell or trade, let me know.
  3. I have the wooden box, but I would like to have the cardstock to fit it on my shelf. Anyone have one willing to sell or trade, let me know.
  4. Yeah, I have the wooden box too and I kind of wish I had gone with cardstock. Thanks!
  5. Does anyone know if the Murder by Death cardstock box fits on an Expedit shelf?
  6. Thanks for all the help. I actually noticed that my grounding wire had fallen loose. Whoops. So the problem is much better now, especially before the needle hits. But, when the needle hits the record, there is still a slight humming, but not bad at all. I'm pretty sure I just need to look into replacing my receiver. Had it for a long time, needs to happen.
  7. No, the turntable is not on top of the receiver. I don't hear it when I'm not using headphones. Also, I just barely touched the tonearm while it was in the rest and the humming got louder. It's not super noticeable when the music plays, or really at all, but I'm assuming I would probably tell a difference if it wasn't there at all.
  8. Since I got a new turnable I've realized how little I know about them. When listening to my records through my headphones, I've notice a slight humming as soon as I turn on my receiver, before the needle is on the record. Is this a grounding problem possibly, or do I just need to upgrade my receiver? I have a pro-ject debut carbon and I'm pretty sure the grounding wire is connected properly.
  9. Yeah that's probably it. I actually just ordered a dry brush and I suppose I'll bite the bullet and buy some poly lined sleeves. Anyone know where to get a good deal on them?
  10. They sound fine. I have noticed this new TT can bring out pops and crackles, but if the record is clean, no problems. Yeah I've been planning on replacing my paper sleeves with poly lined.
  11. Yeah the directions for mine said 17.5, but it wasn't enough and skipped around a bit. Ortofon site says 15-20, so I figured 18.5 would be good.
  12. Not chunks, but chunks of what looks like light surface scratches. They may be cosmetic, I'm not sure.
  13. I have a new Pro-Ject debut carbon with an Ortofon 2m red. For some reason I've been noticing what look like light surface scratches on some of my records. Not all over but just like one or two small chunks of space. For example-from the outside where the needle drops to about an inch or so into the record(or various other areas). I really don't see how this TT would be harming my records and my old cheap Audio Technica not harming them. I have taken a lot if time and balanced and re-balanced the tone arm. The counter weight is around 18.5, I think the range is 15-20. Is this normal wear I've just never noticed? Let me know what's up.
  14. Sold this a long time ago and I want it back. Anyone got a copy for sale?

  16. Also, you paid with Paypal man, it's not easy to screw someone over with Paypal. One more time, you got your money back.
  17. You think paypal would have let me go this long without paying you? You were not the only one who I slacked on sending records to, my feedback shows it. Every one of you got your money back and I'm not posting "proof" all over the boards. I'm done with this squabble now. Record is sold anyway.
  18. I will if you pay me for it. I made a mistake and got behind on sending out records. You got your money back. If you want the record make me an offer.
  19. Didn't you get your money back? Yes. I was swamped, stop whining.
