odd. i think if this band had any other vocals id probably be prone to hate them cause theyd probably be over the top emo and gay. but the fact that he comes off in his singing as a regular ass dude, not some whinny bitch is what keeps me coming back for more. EDIT- not to say i don't like my fair share of "gay/emo" vocals, but in this case it would just be not cool.

ive been waiting on my 2nd press version of panopticon from robitc for what seems like years now. (almost 3 weeks)

also is the picture in the original post the vinyl cover art? im kinda partial to the cd version even though that one is cool in its own way. heres the cd one... i think if somehow this version could be printed so that there faces were printed with a foil type paper it would look amazing.

Speaking of ole mastodon... I contacted Bill Kelliher (guitarist) via myspace, and me and him set up a trade. I sent him some of my classic star wars memorabilla, and he was going to send me a copy of Blood Mountain on Clear, which there were only 100 made, and it wasn't avaliable to the public, you had to get it from the band. Well he went out on the road the day before my package got there, and when he got back they had run out of the Clears! I was so bummed. But he got me into a show in Nashville for free along with 2 friends, and he gave me a shirt, and a couple posters. He called me during Converge and we got to chill with him. Kinda surreal. Not to sound like "that guy" or anything.
