Jealous! Hoping mine comes today. Hard to tell if I prefer the alternate artwork or not. I'm sure I will once I have a physical copy.
New artwork is defnitely very cool in its own right, the whole package just feels well thought out and is really sweet to look at. I would have preferred the old artwork too, though.

Got mine today, superb packaging all around. Monotreme really know their stuff.

I'm gonna get this. Still need to pick up Ocean Roar as well.
-
Finally came around to update my post, probably going to pick up Kezia now. I'm happy that there's a new batch coming.

I'd love to own this album but not for this price. Never.

Definitely in the same boat. Bought a original and doesnt sound great. But being a all time favorite album, i had to buy it. Been looking for the translucent blue version too. I will most definitely buy this reissue.
I have the blue one ... we should talk again when the reissue drops

UPDATE FOR YOU US PEOPLE:
BOYSETSFIRE’S THE MISERY INDEX: NOTES FROM THE PLAGUE YEARS AVAILABLE ON VINYL FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER IN THE U.S.A.
Bridge Nine To Release This Classic BSF Album on January 13, 2015
Back in 2006, after releasing a record on the same label that invaded early 2000’s modern rock radio with Creed and Evanescence, post-hardcore veterans BoySetsFire returned to Equal Vision Records for the North American release of their lauded fourth studio album, The Misery Index: Notes from the Plague Years, with Epitaph imprint Burning Heart handling worldwide release. The record appeared on Billboard's Top Heatseekers and Top Independent Albums charts and expanded the band's sonic palette (piano, string instruments, horn sections) beyond their already adventurous, aggressive and melodic sound.
The Misery Index: Notes From The Plague Years was never made available on vinyl in the U.S. when originally released, and now Bridge Nine is proud to release the album for vinyl collectors stateside. For the first time ever, this landmark BSF release will get the deluxe B9 vinyl treatment it deserves; colored vinyl, bonus download code, poster insert, and more. Look for this to be available in stores and online as of January 13th, 2015

Hope Never Born, Never Dead and Darkness, Oh Hell are next. Can't wait.
-
I need this so bad but I just can't justify 46$ shipped for one singled record. Ugh.
-
Good stuff. Their 10" is splendid as well.
-
got the EP, is their other stuff worth checking out?

This record is really fucking great, I like it so much more than Hubardo.
-
Got my black copy today and the packaging looks really nice. Gonna spin it later.
-
jep. I feel like their stuff is massively underrated despite being on a high level throughout, from the super fun debut to the amazing In Nothing We Trust. I would love to see every album pressed too.
-
fuck yeah, just spinned this record yesterday. so damn good.
-
album should be great, can't wait.

300 each is tough ... hope I can get a copy of Kezia

Don't forget about the new Solace variants on the horizon, as well as their back catalog... presumably pressed on multiple variants as well. Being a Jakob completionist is shaping up to be a pricey endeavor.
ugh so much must-have represses this year, can't spend any money on new releases anymore : /

German amazon pushed back the release date to October 3rd...
