Cool record. I'd buy but that price is steep.
-
Could be their best record yet. I mean the last two EPs were amazing but damn this is just incredible. So glad they changed things up after Alphabets (their only mediocre output IMO).
-
I'm glad that these aren't limited. I hope they are available in the EU/UK soon.

Finestvinyl.de has the gold one for 29,99 €
that's not sweet enough for me.
edit: but thanks.

I'm gonna wait for a much sweeter price tag on amazon.de.

Labels exist to put out music and make money doing it. They are a business at the end of the day. Labels should keep their releases in print if there's demand for them. I have no idea why anyone would ever have a problem with a label keeping their releases in print on vinyl (even if they keep pressing the same record on different colors). If you already have a copy then cool and if you dont have it and want one then you can go get it on a cool color of vinyl. Believe it or not, even after this whole pressing of NOFX vinyl is sold out there will still be people in this world who don't own it and will want it. I just dont understand how it effects anyone in any way if they think the market is "flooded" with a certain album on vinyl.
If someone absolutely must buy every variant of a NOFX or Bad Religion or whatever record then that really isn't something a label should be worried about. If people want to keep buying the same record over and over then they can do that but it shouldnt be up to the label to stop producing vinyl because some collectors can't afford to buy Ribbed on a new color.
I'm not saying people who buy 1 copy of something are wrong or that people who buy every variant of a record are wrong, thats totally up to the person how they want spend their own money.
I'm not trying to pick a fight either, just having a conversation
I still don't know why some people are not getting this.

RSD-exclusive release or not, this is my first and only must-buy so far.
-
Just received my copy of PBP. I don't if it's just me but that is definitely not orange.
-
New Baton Rouge, nice. Buy that Daitro album folks, it's killer.
-
My PBP from the EU store shipped today, so excited.
-
Four golden copies on ebay.de already. That didn't take long.
-
this looks really awesome indeed. my blue copy can't arrive soon enough
-
just some hardcore related stuff you might enjoy: Envy, Sed Non Satiata, Daitro, Verse, Departures, Gospel (best band), Hopesfall, Taken, Armchairpolitician (best German band), United Nations .... if you need more, let me know

So apparently this has static/noise/hissing all over it? Can someone confirm cause I'm wanting to buy but am hesitant to drop 30 euro on something that sounds shiz.
sad but true, at least for my copy

Hecker is great stuff through and through. I've been exploring (and subsequently loving) his discography very thoroughly for the last year or so. Winged Victory and Stars of the Lid are definitely a different breed of ambient. I feel like they burn cleaner and sound more serene -- Hecker's material is dark and engulfs you. You get lost in it in the sense that you'd lose your way in a massive cavern. Winged Victory is more akin to zenning out and drifting out to sea.
Well put, definitely agree. Very stoked for this.

This should be good, but waiting for a stream before I jump on this. The UK store doesn't have this yet anyway.
-
A pressing of 4000 isn't that much for Thrice plus it only got this first original pressing which people tend to overemphasize anyway so yeah I can see this being slightly inflated now. I would never sell this though as it was my first vinyl record ever.

For any guitarists out there, the Volition tab book is now up for order on Sheet Happens. I sprung for the expensive shipping option as my Scurrilous tab book and Volition vinyl took 3 months to arrive, airmail promises 2 weeks max.
Definitely not gonna be able to play any of the whole songs from this (Without Prejudice and Drumhead Trial, r u srs?), but there's a few riffs and lead parts I'm looking forward to trying my hand at!
You got the deluxe edition? If so you could forward the digital tab books of their previous records to the community

This record is fantastic! I hope a German distro (denovali??) is picking this up soon so I can order the shit out of it.
-
Pygmy Lush cover should be epic, god I love that band.
-
yeah, good reason to finally pick this up
