Hi! I’m new to the board and to collecting, I’ve been lurking that last few days. I got into this about four months ago. I’ve been buying my stuff mostly from Amazon and EBay. I really dig the Autorip feature with Amazon, enjoying the best of both worlds so to speak. Here’s what I’ve purchased the last few of months: Blue Sky Black Death – NOIR (EBay – first ever pressing of this album, limited 500) Blue Sky Black Death – Glaciers (Amazon preorder) Bonobo – Animal Magic (Amazon – reissue. Unfortunately the sleeve got banged up during shipping.) Bonobo – Black Sands (Amazon – The sleeve got banged up during shipping.) Bonobo – North Boarders (Local record shop) The Black Kids – Party Traumatic (Amazon – slightly warped-argh! Still plays great though.) The Commodores – Natural High The Commodores – Heroes The Commodores – Midnight Magic I got all three in great condition at Goodwill for $2 bucks total Inspection 12 – In Recovery (EBay (New and Sealed) – really cool punk/pop-punk band. They’re from my hometown in Florida and got signed by Fat Wreck Chords/Honest Don's Records. But, their drummer died in car crash and the band sort of just fell apart afterwards. They still play occasional shows. Not sure how rare this is, can’t imagine a lot of people know of this band outside of Florida. If you dig Yellowcard or Lagwagon I’d check them out.) The Kings of Leon – Come Around Sundown (Amazon) Lykke Li – Youth Novels (Amazon) Millencolin Life on Plate (Amazon – reissue preorder) Millencolin For Monkeys (Amazon – reissue preorder) I’m slightly concerned about this after reading on the boards that these are hot topic exclusives; I wonder how Amazon can offer preorders on these records.
