We are just getting settled in our new house, so taking it easy tomorrow. I am going to make some chorizo cornbread stuffing because it is delicious and easy.

Mix 6? Pizza wings?

I like Ultimate Team for FIFA, but I usually play GM mode on NHL. Was thinking I'll give HUT a shot this time around.

What the heck...

How so? 13 and 14 were both solid.
Agreed. I'd like to know what's so bad about it. I'm getting a PS4 and really looking forward to NHL 15 in particular.

I'm going with open. I see how keeping them in box for display purposes could be cool (if you have a lot and just want to stack them), but I plan on just having a few and I'd rather just have the figure itself on display. And I just like touching things.

I only checked one store and was told that they didn't order any and that a few people had already asked about it.
The packaging from Dynamite was awesome. The book was in plastic with cardboard backing, placed into a sturdy envelope, and then placed into a slightly bigger sturdy envelope. I don't order many comics, so I don't know the norm, but I found this to be exceptional packaging.

I meant to mention it when I ordered, but I forgot about it until it showed up!What what what!?! I will google this right now ! I am definitely interested !! Thanks
Apparently the first print cover is sold out. I found out in the back of the book that there are variant covers for different shops, conventions, and other retailers.

I just love snacking. I love it so much. Meals aren't as amazing as snacks. I ate a giant macaron today and all I can think about is getting another one tomorrow!
Nearly ate an entire small tub of hummus with some chips today. I'm ready to finish it and start on another. Snacks!

Yo, TinaDaZombieRomancer, have you checked out Bob's Burgers #1 (the comic)? I got it in the mail today. I would highly recommend it.

The company was called Meathead Movers. They employ student athletes and have clearly set out policies and standards, so I felt good about supporting them and I felt confident in their professionalism and care of our household items. Getting people to help me would've been an issue, too. It also would have taken me much longer to get it done. I highly recommend paying for the services if you have the means.
We either didn't get any mail today or they never came by. I was expecting a couple packages. Oh well.

What was the cost like?
It ended up at about $200/hr for the whole thing. Loading (padding, wrapping, all that), driving, unloading and placing stuff.
The cost was like yes that is completely worth it for me to not have to move this stuff again.
-
I just watched some meaty student athlete Meathead Movers load up all of our stuff. It was impressive. Worth it to not have to lift anything. So, so, so worth it.

That Anderson Valley beer sounds really good. Going to look for that!
It sounded really good, but it turned out to be a strange mix of butter and bourbon and some spices. I didn't enjoy it, and I wouldn't recommend it, but everyone has different tastes so maybe give it a try.

Just picked up Anderson Valley's Pinchy Jeek Barl bourbon barrel pumpkin ale and Rogue's Daddy's Little Helper Black IPA. Excited to try both.

That's super lame. I want one, but I've already convinced myself I'll never find one for a reasonable price.

Sort of related to dark bars: I saw Dark Rooms open for mewithoutYou and I liked everything about them except for their frontman's vocals. Really killed it for me.

It's caramel apple pie with cinnamon ice cream on top. Yum.
Yes, I would like to put that in my mouth.

Heading to NJ tonight on the red eye. Sup Newark?! But really. The hotel has great pie.
Any specific great type? Or just great pie, in general?

dapeebs, I PM'd you about those supernatural ones. Haven't seen the winged castiel, but dean and regular castiel are no problem if you want them.

I will eventually..

I need those Arrested Development ones! I haven't seen them in a store yet, and I'm not quite ready to get them online because I'd just prefer to see them and buy them right then. Where did you get them?

We had polish sausages, chorizo cornbread stuffing, and roasted cauliflower and carrots.
The chorizo cornbread stuffing is just chorizo, carrots, celery, Serrano peppers (if you please), some broth (I use vegetable), cornbread, and cheese and cilantro to finish. Cook the chorizo and set it aside, cook the veggies down in the same pan (I brown a little and then cook down in the broth), mix the meat and veggies with the crumbled cornbread, and add broth until it is moist. Put it in a pan and cook it at 400F for 15-20 minutes. Add some cheese and put it back in to brown. Cut and serve. I like to add some finely chopped cilantro when it's served.
Edit: I would also include some chopped onion, but my girlfriend doesn't like them so I leave them out usually.
