I put on my BOlieve shirt this morning and immediately got a call for a job interview. All you have to do is BOlieve!

This is a real slobberknocker.

So turns out it ended up in someone else's box (1523) instead of mine (1503). After annoying the post office for 4 days it finally got resolved!

Hooray for a happy ending!

Am I the only person that can't stand seeing someone write the $ after the number?

My Gf and I bought Lolla tickets but once the lineup was announced we changed our minds. I've now sold them on stub hub. Today is 3 days since the tracking has said "delivered". My apt office doesn't have them and the post office is " looking into it". Has anyone been in a situation like this or can offer advice. I have to ship these out to the buyer ASAP. I'm getting pretty frustrated.

At my previous address I had this happen a couple times with packages. Someone marked it as delivered and the post office said they didn't know. Both times the package showed up a day or two later. Hope those tickets come!

Also, just curious, this is a question for the board. If a random person who is not a member on VC messaged you on DF or discogs, offering you $200 for a record that you only valued at $100, would you accept the offer or tell them they could have it for $100 or maybe $150?

$150 or something around there sounds good to me. They pay less than what they hoped to pay and you make more than you thought you would. Everyone feels good (until the other guy maybe decides he overpaid).

Merchline is blue/black swirl, while epitaph KRM is blue/black. Means there are 3 variants including black i guess!

That makes sense! I can't really make out what the blue/black should look like with that picture. Just assumed it was swirled like the other one.

Got my white copy over the weekend, sounds really good and has a random yellow streak which is pretty cool.

Ordered mine today. Hoping for one of these random streaks. So excited to see in person how awesome this jacket looks.

I see what you mean Kyle. I'm in a similar situation. The local record stores around me are mom & pop places whose entire stock is from the pre-1990s. This is great if that's what you're looking for, but personally I have all the older records I want already. My other options for grabbing newer releases outside of the internet are Newbury Comics, drive into Boston, or hope that Deathwish has it and I can swing by and grab it.

As someone that lived in Aiken, SC (near Augusta, GA), I feel this. Augusta had a shop that was good for a lot of soul/funk/r&b, but they definitely didn't have newer stuff from bands that I would like to spin. My options were to either go to Charlotte or Atlanta, and neither of those were close enough to drive to just for records. Back in SoCal now... so much better. So it kinda depends on where people live.

The Epitaph store says 500 for the blue/black, but the Merchline store says 250. Merchline says the blue/black will be signed, as well. Interesting. I like what I hear, but I don't feel like I need to own this. Pass.

Guys it's my Friday and I'm off work!! I will not waste these days off! I'm gonna buy a whole watermelon and try and eat all of it before Wednesday and I want to knit 3 hats. That's my goal. If you've got movie recommendations then I'm all ears.

Edit: I have Netflix, Hulu, amazon prime, hbo and I can rent off iTunes.

I watch a good bit of wrestling (the WWE Network is incredible... especially with all the free time I have right now)... I go to the beach once or twice a week just to hang out in the water and on the sand... I eat a lot of burritos...

I played drums for about 7 years, but I haven't had a kit since 2009. Never played in any bands.

I recently moved from South Carolina to Southern California (I grew up in Orange County and left when I joined the Navy in 2006). I drove a large moving truck with one car in tow and my girlfriend drove her car with our two cats in the backseat. My best friend came along to help with the driving (girlfriend is pregnant so she needed lots of breaks) and to just make the trip even better. We took five days to get out here. Currently looking for a job, but loving life back at home. I go to a good amount of shows in LA, OC, and SD and I am planning on going to a few more Dodger games this year along with a Chargers preseason game, several Clippers games, and a few Kings games.
