Has anyone gotten the hot topic version? Is it also plagued with "crap" sound?

Seems like they cleaned up shop, I got my MSP and RHCP shipping notifications before everything went away so I'm pretty chuffed.

Got about 600 bucks worth of vinyl for a 6th of that, no complaints whatsoever!

went back and got Moon Shaped pool and the new RHCP album too

A bunch of third party sellers have it up on amazon now if you don't want the risk of ordering from importCDs. About $21+$4 shipping

 

yeah i cancelled my amazon order and reordered from a third party, it's 15 bucks cheaper that way

Fwiw, I used to do this for a friend of mine in St. Kitts, he'd just buy the records online and ship them to my house and then i'd open them for him and leave a note (You left these when you were here! so he could avoid being taxed on his end) and I'd send the shipping invoice to him via USPS and he'd pay that and I'd send em. So the only real thing I ever had to do was bring em to the post office.

I can't do this for anyone right this moment, but come mid august I wouldn't mind doing it for you. but maybe that info helps someone who is doing it

I don't see how, if he's been collecting for years, that he didn't already know that this repress of FUTCT had happened. Considering it happened maybe 2 years ago.

apparently it came out last year, and i didn't know about the oasis repress either, i had lined up a trade for it and it fell through.

it's whatever really, and i went by discogs and then he showed me two sales of 80 and 85 and offered me 64.

I've been collecting vinyl for almost 15 years, I've gone broke more times than I care to admit buying up records. I've been doing it since before most of you thought it was "Cool"

What do I have now? this huge collection of wax and cardboard that's it. Lol, don't try and lecture me on why people buy records, I've never sold a record in my life and now that I'm thinking about getting out of the game I'm somehow bad for wanting to get the best prices? Thanks but no thanks, I love collecting but precisely the reason I barely ever posted on here or other vinyl boards are dessenting opinions like that.

I have a bunch of the original pressings, I'd be willing to part with the original keyhole cover pressing of futct, and the picture disc infinity on high and pax am days as well
