maybe you're right. I've been buying vinyl for as long as I can remember, would never have thought to read the "new to vinyl" thread...A "new to VC thread" explaining how people act towards any post that isn't telling them where to preorder something would have been much more useful.

I keep them in good condition as it is by virtue of them sitting on a shelf and just collecting dust, but like I mentioned everything I bought, I bought new and used and enjoyed when I was in that phase of music and instead of dumping them at a record shop or something I just kept them because I like owning things. But if there was some obscene value to certain ones, I'd be silly not to at least consider selling them. I don't see how that's an issue, people buy and sell stuff all the time. The value to me is the memories of when I was younger and them sitting on my shelf, if other people assign a higher monetary value than that that I could use to fulfill other hobbies I fail to see how that's an issue.

I know the Folie A Deux vinyl was widely released but just because I don't know hard numbers on prices doesn't mean i don't know there's only 500 take this to your grave copies
