Who cares, we finally get a (hopefully) good-sounding pressing. Fits pretty well with the cover, IMO, although LP1 orange/LP2 navy would've worked too. That cream/ivory color looks bland as can be.

If you can't do it, dont. How intensely were you dating? Two weeks doesn't seem like long enough to even neccesitate a break.
It was going really well, but yesterday she just told me that she's been feeling really bad about herself lately because of things people, including herself, have said and that she doesn't wanna drag me into her problems, so we're being just friends for a while. And she's going to Florida and won't be back till August on top of this.

I'm on break with my new girlfriend that I've been seeing for 2 weeks and I don't think I can do it? I kinda feel like shit.
-
PO this. I back these guys hard.

Anybody think Polaris and Real Friends are gonna be easy to find after the fact? They're my only wants since I'm getting the wide-release Deja.

It just had to die young and save itself. I wonder if this is the way a toy feels when its batteries run dry.
No fucking regret with the puns.

Do you know what Triple Crown just started?
The actual apocalypse.

Nabbed Three Cheers in-store today. It sounds great IMO and it looks lovely.

I have:
Daft Punk - Random Access Memories
Real Friends - Everyone That Dragged You Here (Red w/ Black Smoke)
I'm willing to trade for anything from The Wonder Years, Modern Baseball, Old Gray, or Blink-182.
-
From Broken World's FB:
"VERY excited to announce that we will be releasing Old Gray's first EP "Do I Dare Disturb the Universe" on vinyl for the first time as a one-sided 12" with an etched b-side. The program on side A includes the original 4 tracks remastered as well as a bonus acoustic version of the track "Dying Leaves"
This project has been in the works for quite a while and we are very excited to finally be able to share it with you all.
Pre-orders will be up tomorrow afternoon and records will be in and shipping by the end of February."
Stoked on this!

Dude, that sucks nuts.

With a cherry on top?

Might get Real Friends and Kid Cudi, but other than that it's ehh. So many damn picture discs too.

I've never dated anyone, so no crazy ex stories. Pretty mych all of my romance stories are sad.

LEAVE IT TO ERIC TO DEFEND CROSLEYS

I'm so happy I waited and asked everyone to pitch in for Christmas to help me get a decent start up. I'm so happy with it and I spent my tax return on an expedit.
Meanwhile, people have complete Marina collections and are spinning them on record death traps or framing em, which hurts me.
It can be worse. They could be making some sweet bowls.

RIP MY VINTAGE SETUP
It's my fault for getting my ex into records. She kept it and the cat. THE ONLY THINGS THAT MATTERED.
My coworkers bought me an AT-LP60 when I moved and it works fine and from what I read isn't "ruin your shit" level bad. I think at least a couple people here said they use one too.
But man, my old setup would knock shit off the shelves in my neighbors apartment if I wanted.
Dude, that blows nuts. Crossing my fingers that I meet someone who's into records though.

Note to self: don't bother trying to explain why Crosley is shit to Crosley owners. They are morons.
(No matter how much I know this fact, I'll always try to help, and they just don't get it.)
Why would you spend thousands of dollars on records, just to listen to them on a potato? Why wouldn't you want to spend some money to hear the actual quality of your music? Why are people ok listening to records without warmth, depth, feeling, or any fucking volume. I just don't get it. A good starter set up is only about $1,000. That's a drop in the bucket. Especially since it's an investment. Oh yeah, I forget, the "trend" of collecting records.
"Actual". This kid has one of those horrid suitcase Crosleys and said he "upgraded" to something with "actual" speakers because the speakers in the suitcase went out. (This is his "upgrade".) Kid, first of all, no. Those are not actual speakers, and that's definitely not an upgrade. All you got was a differently packaged turd. It wasn't a clue not to buy Crosley when the "speakers" went out only after a couple years? No? Ok. You're probably right. You're probably right when you say you "haven't noticed any damage". I mean, obviously you are very astute, observant, and wise, and would be able to hear the diminishing quality of your rare Circa records. You're right, my bad. What am I thinking when investing in a set up would get you speakers that would out live you? Oh that's right, cause you will be uninterested in records when the trend dies anyway. Again, my bad.
I really need to stop wasting my breath on hopeless cases.
People like that make me happy that I managed to score a 80's Panasonic TT for $10. It's serving me well.

True. He could have got her pregnant.
Exactly.

Well here's how my morning went immediately upon waking up:
"Did you get drunk and tell me you love me last night?"
"...fuck"
OOPS.
Always remember, it could've been worse.
-
Yo, Broken World Media Fest though
That lineup is on another existential plane.
-
If I bought a portable cassette player (Walkman) to use with my super cool headphones... would I be made fun of like the Crosley kids? I want to start tape-in.
Naw.
