Song of Zara is gone, vida blue is still available

haven't been through this before with mondo, but just got a shipping note.
Is this any way at all indicative of when it will ship? Or is it going to be a while for it to get dropped off?

oh nice, that sounds pretty awesome

After spending a bit of time using mine I realized if I kept it up I'd go deaf due to the shop vac being so close. I ran down to the hardware store and bough a plastic storage bin. Drilled a hole in the top with a 2" bit (doorknob bit) and I fed the hose through that. I muffles the sound really well. I also bought one of these https://www.amazon.com/Prime-Wire-Cable-EC870615-15-Foot/dp/B006G69Z44/ref=pd_bxgy_60_img_3?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B006G69Z44&pd_rd_r=ZSYVDJXVXPSTYMCA42CC&pd_rd_w=mMLsW&pd_rd_wg=pBWtX&psc=1&refRID=ZSYVDJXVXPSTYMCA42CC
and that allows me to turn the vac on/off without having to reach back into the bin

Been a bit and no bites, so I'll knock it down to $35ppd (non-usa will cover diff).

-
Thanks, should have been more clear in "gone for good" from mondo.
-
I recently purchased a Squeaky Clean MKIII and highly recommend it, but at ~$130USD it might be out of other's budgets.
Before that I used this Groovemaster Label Saver and was happy with the results.
I'm letting it go for $40ppd - For another $5 I'll throw in an osage brush .
Here's a video of it....please do not use tap water to wash your records.
The biggest win of this is that is gives you something to grab onto while you are cleaning.
-
Got one recently and love it. Ended up being ~$130 USD. no complaints.
-
I don't follow mondo, but do you think the series soundtrack is gone for good? I was hoping to pick it up when FWWM when up for preorder.

Some stuff is moving, time for a bump

Used to use an osage brush and moved to the MoFI one and like it much much better
-
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the MoFi solutions either Super Wash or One...or if you have another store bought record cleaning solution you really love speak up.
There are enough posts about everyone's fav homebrew solution, which I have used, but I'm looking to upgrade.
-
I actually agree with this too. Here's why I did it anyway. I got this as an xmas gift and I plan to upgrade my table soonish down the road. So I figured there was a pretty good chance I'd take the cartridge with me, if that doesn't happen right away, no loss on my part.
-
I've been using 1/3 isopropyl alcohol, 2/3 distilled water, and a squirt of windex mixed in a clean spray bottle. I spray the mix directly onto a lint-free cloth and wipe the record clean. Been using this method for four years. Works great for me.
Not trying to be that guy but I've read that anything more than 10% of iso is too much.
-
Installed and aligned yesterday, really happy with this thing, such an improvement over the stock cart that came with my debut.
-
I absolutely love my carbon and I am glad I chose the piano black in the end (I was originally planning on getting the matte finish). As far as the preamp goes, I have a cheaper pro-ject preamp and I am quite happy with that as well.
Didn't think the carbon came in matte.
-
I had about a 1.5" warp on a record that I placed under a larger book and then I put 3 cans of paint on top of it. A week later the record was fine and I didn't have to stick it in the oven.
-
bummer I thought this was a thread about pressing lookit on vinyl.
