  1. In this context, it's an elusive (an thus probably very expensive) record you've always wanted. It's also the name of an indie band on Merge from Lawrence, Kansas with a dude from The Get Up Kids. Cool, thats what I thought. Thanx! -Chris-
  2. So I'm still looking for this album guys! I know there has to be one on this board somewhere! -Chris-
  3. I didn't randomly make a post. I posted a couple of times about this album and I only now found one. I guess it was just good timing. It took me 4 months to find one. I'm sure you'll find one soon. There has to be someone else on here that would be willing to let one go. -Chris-
  4. So a white wale is a some record that you've always wanted and not the name of a band? I'm confused haha. All this new lingo is too much to take in. -Chris-
  5. I still haven't been able to get a copy of this on vinyl so I'm posting again. If anyone has this and is willing to let it go, please let me know. It would make my year. All The Best, -Chris-
  6. Conor Oberst - Gentleman's Pact EP -Chris-
  7. Yeah I just sent them an email and they said they are sold out. There must be a problem with their site. -Chris-
  8. I can't find this record anywhere. Help me out please! -Chris-
  9. not sure if it would or not...k, start off w/ a lite of glass that fits relatively snuggly in your frame....clean the shit out of it...no dust or anything in there...no finger prints or anything...center it up in the frame....lay side a or b down (whichever you want to be the front) and make sure that shit is centered really well. Get a can of compressed air and blow out any dust particles that may have gotten in that shit. Get some thin white cotton gloves....clean the bageezuz out of the second lite of glass (which hopefully fits relatively snuggly in the frame as well) after you're sure it's nice and clean, lay it down on your perfectly centered picture disc....hold it in place and lay small bead of hot-glue (hi-temp works best) all around the inside lip of the frame where that second lite meets the frame....let that shit cool thourghly and cover w/ some black tape (assuming your frame is black) to cover up the hot-glue. I could get more advanced than this where there's a frame on the front and the back but it looks a little odd sometimes...pending on how deep the frame(s) is(are) Wow, this is a great idea. I'll have to check this out. I'm sure I can pick everything up for this relatively cheap at walmart. Thank you for this! -Chris-
  10. I'm open to any idea's so shoot away. Would the compression between the two pieces of glass ruin the record in some way? -Chris-
  11. Yeah, I hope he makes it out ok. It doesn't sound like he's doing very good. He's still in critical condition. -Chris-
  12. awesome! best of luck! Thanx! Yeah I'll post a pic if all turns out well. -Chris-
  13. I don't mind the new artwork. I'm not saying it's the best but it's cool that it was made by the guy who made the original Star Wars posters. Anyway, thanx for the help. They don't come with sleeves, just a clear packet thingy so I would only hang the record like you have done. I've just found a frame that's meant to display like diplomas that you can view from both sides so I might check into that. -Chris-
  14. Yeah, I have a Music Hall MMF 2.2 hooked up too Cambridge Audio gear. It's my life haha. Which is why I joined this board. -Chris-
  15. Honestly the trash talk isn't necessary, Nor is it wanted. Now, if anyone has any constructive ideas I would greatly appreciate it. -Chris-
  16. Nah, I bought three different ones. I don't plan on listening to them. -Chris-
  17. I planned on putting them on a shelf and just flipping them occasionaly I guess haha. And as for buying two of each, that's out of the question as I really don't want to go through the hassle of shipping from the UK. -Chris-
  18. I was wondering if you guys know a place where I can get a frame that allows you to view both sides of a picture disc? I recently bought 3 Angels And Airwaves picture disks and both sides have amazing artwork that I don't want to hide. Anyway, thanx everyone. I'm really liking this forum! -Chris-
  19. I also want this album really really badly!
