I wouldn't rely on that theory if you want to get a copy at a reasonable price. MVD has also removed it from their inventory. Each vendor is allotted a certain amount of pre-orders. Once they sell their allotment that's it. I recommend Interpunk or Shopradiocast, while you still have the chance. I think the delay is due to QC issues. My friend who works at the plant was doing QC, and said he had to trash about 500 records so far, and wasnt done.

Yeah, I never asked the story behind that. We knew before it actually came out that it was a "typo," but it's been so many years I don't remember the discussion. I'll see if I can find out what happened there.

I'm guessing on the extended "Thanx."It is anybody's guess about that and whether LGGS will have the Ray Charles sample. For all we know at this point the version of "Get Out" could be the Second Hand Smoke version, but unlikely, since "Rawhide" is being included. It may be a safe bet that everything will be as originally released. Interpunk looks to be the cheapest preorder right now at 27 something, and free ship over $50. So just buy 2. I wouldnt bet that MVD is going to relist it. My guess is their alotment of preorders is filled, as is Amazons.

I'm not sure what to say about your conversation with MVD. I showed you the pics, and verified the new(original) tracklisting. I wouldn't assume that someone who works at a distributer knows all they think they do.

Considering it seems to be selling out at all the pre order sites, I would guess it's 2,000 or less, but I haven't been told numbers yet. The guy who works at the plant is being very tight-lipped. At least he verified "Get Out" is on it, so that's how we know it's the MVD release. As far as I am aware this is the only color coming out from MVD. Whoever told you black is mistaken. I got this pic from a guy who works at the pressing plant. No mention of black.

My pic is the MVD release coming out, with the missing tracks, from the original Skunk Records release in 1992. MOV has not released any Sublime in any format.

Hi folks, My first post. I figured I would sign up since I seem to find links to Sublime discussions here every time I Google Sublime related stuff. I used to be a very big Sublime memorabilia/music collector (like top 5 collections worldwide) but have since sold all my memorabilia and only kept the music. Some of it is still very rare though. I am good friends with a few people close to the Sublime camp, and have spent some time partying with the band members in LB, in the past. Anywhoo, enough about me. I wanted to post up some info about the upcoming 2LP release. Not sure whether this is Hot Topic related, or the MVD release, since I haven't been able to get all the info I asked. What I do know is the release pictured does HAVE "Get Out!," so I am assuming it is the MVD release, which will also have "Rawhide" and I'm guessing the extended "Thanks" from the original 40 oz cassette tape, but that's just a guess. From what I've seen on Reddit, the release has been pushed out until the first week of February, again. Here it is in all its glory, sunburst yellow vinyl:
