i got a wii u and love it. ended up with mostly mario games. i find my self playing smash bros and earthbound on it a lot. realllllly want mario maker but i just cant spend 60 dollars right now. maybe ill finally get around to selling some lps i've been meaning to for a while now

Listened to the album for the first time with the lyrics right in front of me and I feel this is an absolute step up from TGG and by far the best thing the band has done, sonically and thematically. Lyrics are strong and emotional, moreso than previous records. There are a lot of musically intricate things going on behind the scenes that I think will get brought forward with subsequent listens. Butler's part is a little odd but I don't think it's bad, maybe just a little too crass. Have to say the production is garbage, though.

agreed. the version i listened to was an early leak in iffy sound quality, so the production will at least be better than that. 

Nothing Feels Good reissue will be in stores on October 30.

not a huge fan of the song, but then again i didn't like the albatross at all when i first heard it. maybe a few more listens and it will grow on me.

80's soundtrack reissues might be some of the worst possible things to repress. (unless its rare or something of course)
