as fucking disgusting as this situation is, i'm not sure this will get me to stop listening to four year strong/tssf/gnarwolves (especially gnarwolves, they haven't said anything about this to my knowledge). i think most of the bands are contractually obligated to not say anything negative about situations like this.  

(also, i'm still a bit confused about what exactly tssf said and or did to show support for harry/jjr)

 

like cwhit said, i like it. i actually really, really like it. unlike TSSF, this band actually shows progression and it's fucking great. if i was still stupid and 16 i would be upset. but i love the melody and 3/4 time signature, the latter of which i think is sometimes pretty hard to pull off in pop punk. (although, also as cwhit said, this isn't really "pop punk.")

pretty much this. i really enjoy the "vaguely pop-punk' pop-punk stuff, if that makes any sense

i remember last september jeff rosenstock said there was a repress of arrogant sons of bitches-three cheers for disappointment in the works on facebook but it looks like not ever materialized from that

I ordered the minute these were available on the website and had them ship to store. I just now received an e-mail that it has shipped, however it's been listed as shipped on the website since the 16th. Odd, but as long as I do eventually get my records I'll be fine.

 

So the consensus here seems to be that this splatter TOYPAJ does not sound as good as the SRC release. I passed on TOYPAJ and just ordered Untitled and Neighborhoods, how do those pressings sound compared to their non-splatter counterparts courtesy of Mightier Than Sword and DGC, respectively?

I don't currently have any press of neighborhoods, however I do have untitled on splatter and it sounds pretty damn good

also late to the promise ring. I just finished listening to nothing feels good, and yeah, definitely will be buying when the reissue happens
