Grabbed one of the packages and I am excited to listen to the entire album after work. I know lots of folks will have a wide range of opinions on the release but personally I am just glad they are making music and touring again. At this point everything after their initial run as a band is just icing on the cake for me.

Posting just so i remember to order this when it goes up

Bought the coke bottle. Crewneck was a little too expensive for me.
same here, plus after getting some pretty low quality crewneck's from merchnow preorders couldn't justify the price.

Waiting to see what bigcartel has to offer.
same here

I tried to spin this record this morning and couldn't even get it on my turntable because the center holes were cut so terribly. Just another thing to add to the disappointment in finally getting such a great album pressed.
Same issue here, I eventually got it on. But it took forever to get it off and I legit thought I would snap the record a couple times trying to pull it off.

Here is my list of what bands I hope they press. The Chariot (The Fiancee), Showbread (No Sir, Nihilism Is Not Practical) He Is Legend (I Am Hollywood) or Dead Poetic. I am guessing they are going to include either the Haste the Day repressing or the Norma Jean-O'God The Aftermath in this promo run. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Underoath also maybe put into this. Hopefully they put out some long awaited stuff.

looking forward to this

Hopefully they press the full length.

Ordered this without a second thought. Excited to spin this.

I really enjoy this album... preordered right away.

It is great to see this finally come out. Wonder if we will see more releases in the future...

Just snagged this as well. Was skeptical about quality but listened to one of the songs on Pitchfork and it was good enough to convince me to jump on this. Excited to spin this when it arrives.

they also dont have expenses...therefore their parents are their dependable income.
haha yeah that isn't really a valid point. There is always a cost involved, that dependable income is strained by having to support both the parents and the kids expenses. I am looking forward to the vinyl bubble collapse, for the few that will be positioned correctly financially will make out like bandits while the majority are forced to sell at 50% to 75% below current valuations.

this is wrong.
the idiots are in the thousands and they will pay for it. most of them young enough with expenses from living at home (not a knock, just how it is )pop punk is prob the biggest selling genre amongst most of the folk here and on ebay. hell, they'll buy a flipped copy just to flip it more.
there will never be a brand new album that never sells.
ever.
i disagree, from a marketplace perspective things are good at the moment, but it doesn't take much to shake it up. Those "buyers" will wax and wane depending on economic conditions. Also the buyers you reference don't have a steady dependable income, a cash reserve put away for emergencies and self control to follow a budget. I just think it is a bad idea to think you have a nest egg or cash reserve in your record collection that you could cash out if you ever got it position where you needed cash, unless you discount the value of your collection by 50%.

Time to "invest" in some inner workings of the Internet. The red squiggly lines means that you done fucked up and the word you are using is wrong.
Paid, friend. You "paid."
Haha thanks for catching that.. I will fix it so you can be at peace

I love how so many people don't understand how liquidity, supply and demand and transactions work when valuing "investments". Especially when it comes to vinyl. Between watching the conversations in Sale/Trade/Wants and general conversations I have had with "collectors" it provides a lot of entertainment. Realistically, with the exception of some, the majority of used records should be valued between $5-$15 maybe $20 if they are brand new. Just because 4 idiots payed an average of $60 for you one off hot topic pop punk band record doesn't mean there is an infinite supply of buyers willing to pay that price. More likely the pool of buyers has dwindled now that those idiots have there hands on it. If you want a record bad enough go ahead and buy it for whatever price you deem worthy, heaven knows I have paid up to get certain things, but just don't expect to find someone to pay that price plus whatever premium you place on it down the road when you need to sell it, unless you are willing to sit on it for a year or two. If you need that cash now well good luck then...

Looked like rochester got about 1 copy total. Missed out.
my brother and i each snagged a copy at record archive. we where about 40-50 in line. where did you go?
-
Well they are sold out now, but what about those copies Equal Vision was selling on merchnow? Or does the connection with Russ run so strong that these are tainted as well?
-
Still waiting on my shipping notification as well. Probably start bugging them next week if I dont hear anything by then.
-
I wish they would press their acoustic self titled ep from way back. Never gotten into anything of their other stuff but that ep is just awesome and hits all the right things for me.
-
I'm going to order a copy from every retailer and then post a YouTube review of unboxing and a comparative analysis of each.
I would give 15 minutes of my life to watch this....
Bonus points is if you decide which one is a white hot stamper and list it for $850 on eBay.

Snagged it as well. Super excited for this.

I always said that once I owned Frances The Mute and Deloused by The Mars Volta and Deja Entendu by Brand New, I wouldn't be so impulsive about records anymore. Now that this is happening, I feel no different.
Interesting.. I totally forgot about Frances the Mute... I snagged a copy fairly cheap when some individuals started dumping it on eBay ahead of what they though was going to be a reissue in light of the Deloused reissue. I would be curious if anyone else thinks otherwise...
