thanks for the tip, i have a converter at home that changes 110v appliances to 240v that I used to use with grow lights from the US (for carnivorous plants not weed as I'm sure everyones thinking )

so I've been playing my records on a crappy crosley-esque player i was given as a present awhile ago and have decided it is time for a sorely needed upgrade. now as anyone in Aus probably knows, turntables are up to 50% more expensive here than the US and speaking as a poor student, this sucks! i was just wondering if anyone has shipped one over from amazon or somewhere similar and would they recommend it? do they get easily damaged in transport? any tips would help! thanks

I tried ordering from that seller on fnac, unfortunately it seems they only ship to french addresses tried multiple times to input my address with no luck.

just got an mail "your order has been cancelled due to insufficient stock" was looking forward to having this lp

does anyone else's fnac order say "Commande en préparation" and then once clicked into the order screen next to the album picture it says "commande"? Just a bit worried as when you click on "commande" it seems to say its validating my payment details which should take a few hours (and as i ordered with paypal on the 9th its obviously taking a lot longer). alternately, does anyone know fnacs email contact? i can't for the life of me find it on their website..i don't exactly speak much french which doesn't help things..
