Isn't the For The Win LP on Asian Man? Is the brown color the "cream soda clear" color that is available on the Asian Man Records page or is it an exclusive color?

Question about the Andrew Jackson Jihad 10", I got my copy from Vinyl Collective and it was on white vinyl and then I just got my copy in the mail from Hot Topic and it was orange yet on your list (http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pxaplWfyq0ZiamycCCEnpOQ) it says that the Hot Topic exclusive color was blue. Were there two Hot Topic exclusive colors?

No, the original colors that Mike was expecting from the pressing plant.

Just got my Matt Skiba & Kevin Seconds LPs and they are not as bad as it seems. Sure I would have liked the original colors but oh well. I still give mad props to Mike Park and the gang at Asian Man for putting the money up and pressing these gems

they're backed the fuck up right now with all the major label releases right now. they have been running their machines all day/night to keep up. my friend had tests approved back in august and only got the finish product about 2 weeks ago. theyre also the new plant recordpressing.com are using, them and erika. If Rainbo is getting so much business then you would think they would expand/hire more so that their quality does not go down, and so that they can keep up with demand. I mean a near four month turn around? That's just insane. When I got my stuff back from United, it only took about a month max and that was 1100 records, 100 color and 1,000 black. They look and sound great.

Does anyone know if Mike got the "Bomb The Music Industry! - Get Warmer" done splatter variants done at Rainbo? Those look beautiful! Especially the white splats on clear. When I showed it to a buddy of mine who is also a record collector, he was like "kind of looks like a few dudes went nuts...literally!" lmao

honestly, i'm not trying to be a dick here, so if it comes off like that i'm sorry... i really hope that's not why you collect vinyl, to impress your friends. i mean, don't get me wrong, i collect variants, too, and with Alkaline Trio's Remains i own literally more than 15 copies of it, but it's for ME, not for my friends. i'm just sayin' is all... Oh no I know. I collect for me for sure. It's just fun when friends come over. We all love and collect music but I am pretty much the only one to collect the same record more than a few times just because it may be on a different label or even a different color of wax.

Yeah I was going to say Pirates would be Mike's best bet. Now that they seem to have a little more cash flow to be doing vinyl I say they ditch Rainbo. Not to mention, Pirates is local and they could drive into the City to pick up the records couldn't they? Might save them a few bucks?

I disagree. Record collecting is just a hobby, all though an expensive one at that! lol I love it when friends come over and they oogle at my collection and then are like "why in the hell do you have the same record ten times?!" and I could be like "look they're different colors" and then they will be all like "oooooooo....ahhhhhh" and then all will be good.

So, I have most of Asian Man's releases on vinyl (though I am missing three records, but that's for another thread...) and I was wondering if anyone here has kept track of all the pressing information for each release, as in, what pressing, what cover, and what color vinyl. If anyone could come forward with any information they have, that would be fantastic! I think all of you could agree, Mike and the rest of his staff have been working their butts off to get these records out to us but along the way have not had the time to update the website with all the pressing information and, I will admit, I have lost track and have not kept!
