  1. Wouldn't it be awesome if there was a place on this forum specifically dedicated to inquiries like yours? We could call it Sale/Trade/Wants and put it right on the main page. And new users could all flip their sealed hot topic vinylz in an organized fashion without having to go through all of the work it takes to find a 9 month old thread. A guy can dream, right?

I get it dude, you don't have to be so Sarcastic about it and write this long message. First off, i'm not desperately trying to sell or trade this, So i don't want to waste a whole posting on 1 album. I'm not a flipper or a seller. I figured I would find some true Thrice fans on this thread that might like for a decent price or even trade, was a quick comment for those who cared.

so i got -7 Idk, Just you guys are sometimes so anal about stuff in this forum and are more in that 4chan mentality, like honestly I'm not a regular here and don't spend too much time here.  I'll probably get another -7, way to make a community on here. haha, happy friday

  2. The second single from this magnum opus has dropped...Oh My Darling, Don't Meow:

    Album details coming next week.

I like this more than the boots remix, really nice how Just Blaze included all those samples. This is how a remix should be made, very entertaining and totally sounds different . Excited to hear how alchemist and Dan the Automator, make use of the cats.

LP includes MP3 download coupon and all pre-orders include a patch and signed polaroid taken by Jenny.

Jenny Lee Lindberg of Warpaint announces her solo debut album as jennylee, after hinting to fans with studio photos via social media. right on! will be released by Rough Trade Records on December 11th, 2015.

Co-produced by jennylee and Norm Block, the 10 songs on right on! were all written by jennylee, and recorded earlier this spring at Happy Ending Studios in Silverlake, CA.

Joining Jenny on the album are: Norm Block (Plexi, Mark Langegan), Dan Elkan (Them Hills, Broken Bells) and Warpaint’s Stella Mozgawa. Additional players include Tony Bevilacqua, Kris Byerly, Katie Burden, Kirk Hellie, Jonathan Hishcke and Cedric LeMoyne.

While right on! retains some of Jenny’s signature Warpaint groove, she incorporates New Wave and Goth elements into her solo work. Her breathy voice and her meticulous bass playing create a new aura that is hazy and dreamy, and essentially all jennylee.

  4. I sprung for the CD/Vinyl bundle. impatiens and FROSTBITE were two of my favorite releases last year, and it would drive me crazy knowing that there are physicals out there that I don't have. $100 is a lot of money for three CDs and a record, but she's been fucking killing it lately.

Yeah, she's improved a lot over the years and I also liked her last two Eps. Nice to see someone else on here supported her kickstarter.

  5. It should still be limited, Origami just happened to secure some copies (presumably from CT) for the fest. I'm not sure if they sold out but it might be worth contacting them in case they have leftovers!

I'm sure you are right. They had extra copies of all the performers that weekend and i'm assuming a lot were from the artists Merch supply. I didn't know the Mac Demarco  colored vinyl went for so much,  I would have bought maybe two more extra copies for people.  They had around 20-25 copies. Copies might go to Origami or back on the DeMarco tour merch table, I don't know.

The sold out stuff from the performers list were Dinosaur Jr albums and Neon Indian "Era Extrana".

  6. They are really pushing the lengths on these sides.

Disc 1 will have 31 mins on side A and 27 mins on side B.

Disc 2 will have 25 mins on side C and 31 mins on side D.

Disc 3 will have 27 mins on side E and 31 mins on side F.

(If you organize the tracks any other way than how I calculated, you get sides with > 31 mins, so I'm pretty sure I calcuated it accurately)

Aren't you not supposed to go in the high 20-minutes or something on a side?

    According to Brainfeeder,

" It was cut at Half Speed by Alchemy Mastering in the UK. This is actually one of the reasons it took so long for this pressing to be done right. The sound quality is very important to us and Kamasi, so we had to get it right. There is no loss of quality by cutting our vinyl using this method."

  7. It will probably flop sales wise, she has little to no promo going into the release tomorrow in the U.S. with the way the labels been showcasing the record + it's ridiculously low on the iTunes chart the night prior to release. She'll be lucky if she pulls in 80k first week. That said, it's a shame considering how good it is. I'll snag the vinyl release once it's out.

It is a shame... I liked her last album, minus the Big hit song, thought the rest of the album was a fun pop album. This one is sounding better but it seems like she doesn't fit anyones demo. She's too pop for the indie crowd, not cool enough for the mainstream listeners, and none of her new songs don't seem to be big hits like they expected. Glad people are giving it love
