Interscope pricing all their big releases at high prices now, first tame impala for $35 and now this.... they need to calm down. lol, them not taking out the first 150 sales get a signed album from the description yet.

Went back to my HT that got rid of clearance and put the 3 record bins by the fitting room on the floor aka West Nyak, NY. I asked why they got rid of the clearance and the associate said they will be phasing out records entirely there and may also stop selling band shirts since the company is moving away from music. She said she even heard rumors they may stop with records/all music items even online and go full pop culture.
If this comes to pass, it will suck. I will miss the BOGO $1 sales.
If they stopped selling band shirts, the company would go under... isn't clothing their top reason of existing at this point.

I bought 7 MegaMans for the board cause I thought it was OOP and now Hot Topic sells them online which costs me $500 in profits now. Ugh!
When flipping goes bad, haha... but i'm sure you'll be able to sell those in time, People love MegaMan and the music is dope

I really only want Frances. Wasn't too crazy about the newest two and I have Deloused/Bedlam/Amput. I don't really like stuff exclusively repressed to a box set because I often have some of what's in a box.
They have been talking about repressing the albums officially on the new Nadie label they have. Just would be cool if they repress them individually for someone in your shoes and in a box set for someone like me. The band is officially defunct, so might as well do a collection of some sort.

Wish Omar and Cedric would repress the 6 Mars Volta albums in a box set, its way to expensive to track down the albums individually at this point.

I never saw Blue Skies but I have Anywhere but here and End is Forever from the clearance.
Yeah, was the last Blue Skies (Blue/White Swirl) they had, and around 3 End is Forever copies. Worth mentioning this was about a month ago.

I got The Ataris albums "Blue Skies, Broken Hearts...Next 12 Exits" and "Anywhere But Here" , both for $6.99 , got to love B1G1 on clearance items
Both are the colored versions. -

It is, on their new Nadie label. I'm waiting for all the new represses.

Oh man, that's great - I had never heard it direct from Cedric like that before...
So crazy that they fought to own the Vinyl rights for their albums back in the day. No label would ever let that contract stipulation slide anymore. Its a great 2 hour interview for any Volta fan.

Got the information from Cedric on this podcast where he talks about the Volta vinyl, MOV fiasco. This was from 10 months ago, so I don't know any more recent updates. All we can do now is just wait.
Anyone interested, jump to the end near (1:55:35) second mark to hear the vinyl talk. Its real interesting and nice to see they put an effort in their vinyl releases.

Interesting read but really, I do welcome the fact that Mondo is opening up for more people to enjoy these records. All I know is that when people whine about throwing on a second pressing sticker on something, it's because they're hoping to sell something later. Can't you all just like buying it cause you love the music on it? But yeah, a decent portion of people buying Mondo stuff are getting them because they are hoping to put it up for a higher resale value. I bet you anything that if they put up posters with higher quantities as well, they would still sell. Mondo has the chance to move away from this whole 'limited' shtick and just put out some really cool stuff that alot more people can get.
So true, only ones getting mad about the limited aspect are the flippers. I thought it was an already way too high price point... Mondo is smart to be selling it at a collectors price from the start.
Just I hope that new releases don't jump to the $40 per album mark. Interscope didn't hesitate to put the new Tame Impala out for 30+ , no download card and colored vinyl advertised as limited but no numbers where released.

Is that too much to ask?

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 & 2.... would be spinning all day for me. Donkey Kong Country 1&2 are also very nice instrumentals to listen to.

Does Bullmoose also not charge until it is shipped? Only reason I ordered it on Amazon was because of that , Don't want to charge it quiet yet
