No picture, but my O Pioneers/Anchor split 7" with hand-drawn cover (1/20) was left in the mailbox in the rain for a day, completely wrecking the cover and giving the record a slight warp - so anyone with a copy of this can now advertise 1/19.

We all know what happened to Jerry Seinfeld when he tried that.
...and sorry about that record.
-
No, I only sent out the plain old record - it's nice to see that they were all around that though - I felt bad letting it go for (what seemed like) so little.
-
Yeah I'd say the hype has died down (for most bands), I had a clear out of Loved Ones stuff back in the summer, Distractions on Grey went for about 15.00 and my second press of the EP went for less than I paid for it. When you search for Loved Ones a ton of random things pop up, so you are probably right, if you don't have the right title/description people won't find it.

The songs on the myspace sound good. Ordered the sunburst, will likely make an order for the 7" from Chunksaah...probably when the 4th souls is put up. Looking forward to seeing how the sunburst looks, the Shot Baker was a good guideline.
Looking forward to the uniqueness of the die-cut. The last piece of shaped vinyl I owned was the LTJ moldy cheese about 10 years ago. You have to appreciate the uniqueness, as well as the political statement.

Thanks,
they should look great.
The only other red//yellow sunburst I could find was the The Shook Ones Facetious Folly Feat, and even then there was only a sliver showing outside the jacket.
-
Those look great.
I'll definitely pick up one.
Does anyone have anymore information on what constitutes "sunburst", is it just a more uniform splatter? All I can think of is sunburst guitars and they are kind of like two colours mixed.
Thanks.

Hey, this is supposed to come out on Anti- today, anyone know of any pre-order/on-sale info. I picked up two from GHVC in Germany last week on their pre-order. Any help would be appreciated. I imagine it will go up at the anti store, but Tom Waits is still up at the top of that....
For those who want to hear the songs on the 7"

Any chance the left overs from the VC warehouse sale are going to end up for sale in the store? I want to get in on one of the deals but shipping to Canada is a killer. I want that Frank Turner/Austin Lucas at a decent price - all the other stores (insound - 8.99, Interpunk, 7.00) are pricier.
Thanks,
-
hey Virgil, any chance of international SEAMAIL shipping. i wanna get the $50 job but airmail costs another $80.
there isn't a way to ship by boat anymore, it is only airmail, but what if I took the CDs out of the equation and just charged you what it cost to ship? The CDs will decrease the weight a bunch if taken off of the deal.
Are you willing to do this for Canada too?

They also centred everything

From the news section, under the Wrecktrospective info
And if 88 songs aren’t enough for you, we will have Short Music For Short People on color vinyl available soon. 101 30 second songs never before on color vinyl
-
2nd one is King Of America by Elvis Costello.
-
Sorry to ruin the surprise, consider the 10" ordered.
-
Hi, I'm not trying to be a shit, but I can't find where it says you get that stuff free. I can only find the same Merch bag for $7.00, a full $1.01 more than here. The record does sound great though, and you do get a digital download.

Fat is posting some early info on the Teenage Bottlerocket release. There is a combo deal for the color vinyl, black vinyl, and CD.
Spoiler alert - it likely gives away the colour....

The rest of the info is here......
Enjoy

Sorry to be unclear - They let usually let me send 7"s as letter mail as opposed to small packet - which costs more and you have to fill out a customs declaration - more work on both our parts. I don't mean to besmerch the shoppers workers at all - they just are less strict. there is no getting around the 12" shipping problem though
-
Yeah, I always forget to increase my shipping prices - I regularly lose money on the shipping. Especially if you go through Ebay - they have a $4.00 max media mail cost, if I pack light (still secure, but light) I can ship to the states for $7.50, but have paid up to $11.00.
A 7" to the states can go as light as $3.40 or even cheaper if they can send it letter mail. It's better to go to a Shoppers Drug Mart postal outlet as they are not as strict as Canada Post.

Sorry guys,
Ouch,
true, I don't post in here often - though spam is harsh. The first time I posted recors for sale it was just in here, no ebay. I actually would have prefered to get rid of the records through this board, because I know people care about the music. Originally, I didn't even put prices on them, one guy made an offer and got one, so I took other 50 to ebay. I don't really like it either, it has put an artificial value on records and creates a frenzy around certain bands/releases.
That said, all the auctions are starting off at .99. If you are interested in any and were "tricked" into reading this, let me know you are a vinyl collective board member and I'll deduct a buck from the shipping.
Finally, true, It was an ambiguous title - it was late and I had just finished the tedious task of posting the records.

Please take a look at my ebay auctions, some Rancid NOFX, Me First, Good Riddance, and other 90s and early 00s releases....and tomorrow I'll be adding some 12" including the Hold Steady Boys and Girls on Blue.
Thanks
-
Most of it's on Ebay now, with a couple of other things I dug out...please bid away!
-
I recently added a bunch more stuff, with another pile tomorrow. Thanks for looking.

Hi,
After not getting too many replies to my list on here i've decided to post my stuff on Ebay. About 25 items there now and I'll add more tomorrow....make some bids!

Two copies of John K. Samson's City Route 85 - German Pressing - Translucent Blue vinyl......jacket is bent in a few places because the label sent it in a bubble mailer with no cardboard and no fragile sticker. As a result, the mailperson jammed it into my apartment mail cubby instead of leaving a pick up slip - vinyl's fine though.
