  1. it goes down to GBP 130 because of VAT (the UK sales tax). They remove VAT (which is 15%) when it's being sold overseas.

my wife and i order from amazon uk all the time for it to be sent to spain and weve always paid the vat. and ive just tried the blur 21 set and its still 156.... hmmmmmmmm

well, then i guess it varies. i'm in the states and they always removed VAT for me.

  5. Ordered this on Friday. It'll go great with my original pressing.

I wonder when the reissue of Vertigo will come out. That's the only one I need.

Puzzle was released by Warner Bros so it would be up to them to reissue it, and not Beggars Banquet.

Also, I do wonder if Beggars did this without BC's knowledge/permission. It's kind of strange that BC didn't mention it on their stie. Beggars probably still own the rights to the first three albums and the singles from them. BC weren't particularly happy when Beggars released the singles collection when Puzzle was released.

  6. dear shop radio cast,

if im dropping $50+ for a limited 3 x LP, it is kind of implied that it will be numbered editions of the "limited 1000 run" but i guess i was just naive.

last year's RSD release of bleed american was numbered on the back. and they advertised it as a limited edition too..this re-press is essentially the same songs, same artwork, different colors right?

a quick ebay search of the "SRC bleed american" told me that this release/repress wasn't numbered because they had the decency to include the text "Not numbered editions." why couldn't SRC do that?

seriously, stop buying records. this is completely a non-issue. and you are a fucking idiot for complaining about it.

  7. new to the board, and heres my first post.

wanted to grab his record last year on RSD but ran outta funds so I picked this one up from SRC cause there was a 15% off coupon anyway

they say this is a limited and numbered release but there was no number at all on the vinyl or sleeves. SRC advertises "limited run of 1000." the sticker on the shrinkwrap says "limited and numbered pressing of 2000" so wtf?

and yet no numbers to be found.. very disappointed

if you're ordering records because you were expecting them to be individually numbered, you have bigger issues to deal with.

  8. Grr!

9 week passed on my TDON order, emailed them, no reply, emailed them again at week 11, they replied "must be lost in the mail" and refunded me.

    Fuck!

Ordered from 6131... unhappy camper! With so many variants, I was happy to know that I owned the first pressing/variant available, but no, no such luck =/

My only consolation is that 6131 was cheaper...

    FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS

  9. I have a MOTU-828 firewire digital audio interface that I use for needledropping. The recording path is as follows

    Turntable > Receiver > MOTU-828 > Computer > Garage Band

I usually just record a bunch of records in one go and then edit everything in Peak.

The results I get are really good. I keep my records faily clean so there's very minimal pops and clicks with the recordings. Most of the time, they're minor so I just keep them in the recording.

  10. Beach Fossils - Beach Fossils - Black/White Marble Vinyl LP /1000
