you don't want this record on colored vinyl. you want it on THICK BLACK HEAVY VINYL.
-
it's better than the future embrace.
when i was done listening to it i had to put on no heroes really loudly to purge my ears.
-
i just ordered:
maps and atlases - trees, swallows, houses
the national - boxer
neurosis - given to the rising
i just received:
108 - a new beat from a dead heart
Appleseed Cast, The - "Peregrine"
Death Cab for Cutie - "Transatlanticism"
Minus the Bear - "Highly Refined Pirates"
One AM Radio, The - "The Hum of the Electric Air!"
Sun Kil Moon - "Ghosts of the Great Highway"
These Arms Are Snakes - "This Is Meant to Hurt You"
Young Widows - "Settle Down City"
and a few others.

jesus, yeah, i didn't even know it was ever pressed on vinyl.
-
ahhh. ok, that makes sense. after checking my copy i definitely see both gold and yellow in there. thanks for posting the info.
yeah, opaque gold vinyl is typically a very greenish yellow color, totally different from transparent gold. i believe this pressing is part of pirate press's "haze" options.
-
the pea green swirl is actually the clear yellow/gold mix. this has been confirmed by a reputable source (i know the new drummer for 108)
-
vinyl collective is my new fave. when they're back up and running i'm gonna give 29 north a spin, b/c they have a HUGE selection. i haven't used them in a long time, but very distro is usually pretty good. i'll also buy direct from labels and/or bands.
deathwish is pretty awesome. i have about 10 million converge stickers because of them.
-
100 - black / gold with black splatter split
400 - clear yellow / gold mix
500 - clear red / gold mix
-
i'm going to be ordering it from very in a few days actually. i was waiting for the neurot store, but decided not too.
-
amoeba is pretty ridic as far as record stores go.
-
I'm a viking....I'm married to the sea. Ah, Lars...
i actually AM a viking.
no f'n around, i'm a descendant of erik the red.
he had a huge vinyl collection.
-
you can't say it's ugly when you get a chance to look at it in person, the photo does NOT do it justice. it's an amazing site to behold, one of the best looking records i've ever laid eyes on.
i'm right, if you disagree, you're wrong.
THE IRON FIST OF ROBOTNERD HAS SPOKEN.
END THREAD.

OAKLAND, IT'S BEAUTIFUL. JOIN THE F'ING CLUB ALREADY.
-
seriously, i was about to buy it and then i realized it was 40 bucks. i love doomriders and all, but not THAT much.
-
and you wouldn't happen to know how many of these are made?
Also, Impact + Brennan, I have searched a lot for info on these records. Maybe not at the right place, but I haven't found anything for the missing info That's not lazy lol
nope, for some reason i've never catalog'd my 7"'s, so i don't know anything about their pressing info.
-
we don't have ANY of the same records.
wait... nope... there's one we have in common > 7-0007 | Weezer - 2005 - Beverly Hills | Geffen | 1st (Picture Disc, ?)
-
was any of the rentals stuff ever pressed on vinyl?
-
originally? or right now?
-
i think this record is the best thing they've ever done, they've matured and moved past monotony. i semi-agree about the drummer, i don't hate him, but he's definately the weakest link. the problem is, he's the bassists brother.

CD "collecting" is the biggest joke ever. First off, a CD is only worth about $1.00 when it's made. The paper inside is worth more than the cd itself. With reproduction being as easy as it is these days, it's even more of a joke.
tell that to buckethead fans.
copies of his ntt records pressing of giant robot routinely go for 400+
not saying i disagree with you, but there is an element of completism that people can get into, as there definately are rare cd's out there. and it's often easier to own every release by a certain band on cd than it is record.
-
nothing beats this
yeah, i've got me one of those. hot stuff.
-
yeah, it has to be, it's definately not red, or black.
-
most hydrahead stuff is pressed on vinyl a little bit after the cd release, fire in our throats was almost (if not more) a whole year later.
-
my friend plays drums for them now, so i got it from the source.
100 - black / gold with black splatter split
400 - clear yellow / gold mix
500 - clear red / gold mix
