I guess this is just a given, but Collapser had more Jawbreaker than any other material I had listened to by Banner Pilot before. Even though it was evident in their last record, I also found hints of Face To Face, and and other influences, however Collapser is like Jawbreakers baby brother. Good times!!

A whole lot of 24 Hour Revenge Therapy, and Dear You influence dripping all over my record player after playing Collapaser. From the art lay out-text, lyrics ripped from Jawbreaker songs, off those two records, to the way the lyrics were printed on the lyric sheet etc So many Similarities. I wonder how much of it was planned out, and how much of it was natural expression and coincidence via influence. Great record. Amazing band, Banner Pilot may not be the most innovative band in the world, but they are sure one of the best in the world at taking their influences and doing justice by them.

Interesting, was hoping they would of added some demos, and out takes that were from the Bleach sessions. Oh well, legendary band. I always felt Nirvana would of been a perfect 1977 Bay Area punk band. Their musical craftsmanship, politics, and aesthetics would of fit in well with the creative energy and culture developing in 77. I could of easily seen a punk show flyer that read - Playing at the Mabuhay tonight for $2.00 The Avengers, Nirvana, The Nuns, and Screamers!!

Did everyone like this record ? Or were you expecting more musically/lyrically?

We are including them. The first batch that went out didn't have them included. They were never printed on glossy paper; they were printed on regular printer paper, and then photocopied. The reason we did it is that having inserts printed professionally is expensive, and we can't afford to lose our hard earned money on every single release. Gotcha, so essentially they were simply rushed out. Seems a bit unprofessional to me. And why the Condescending attitude in regards to my statement about the hard earned cash in buying the records ?? And exactly what releases is it okay for you @ Asianman to lose your hard earned money on? You see two can play this game... However I will take the high road, I believe in good business ethics, and expect professional service, and product when paying for something, otherwise, I would just download the music for free, and skip the whole consumer/business part.

A few things - This Classics Of Love record is easily top 3 of the year so far. It's short to the point distinct, achieves and incorporates all creative forces of Jesse Michaels. So thank you for Classics of Love, and thank you Jesse, and please, I'm one fan that would go very ape for a full length Classics Of Love record. This EP was terrific!! Next - I don't have a printer, not only that, but if I did, I wouldn't have the nice sleek-substance paper that record inserts lyrics/pictures are usually printed on. So, I have to ask, why were these inserts not included with the record up shipping ??? Obviously the layout design and lyrics sheet are in digital form. What happened to the physical inserts that I and everyone else who paid their hard earned money for at when we bought the record ??? I'm all for supporting Indie Record labels, and amazing bands, but I can only speak for myself when I say, please include the precious lyrics/artwork inserts with the records. Now does anyone on Vinyl Collective have a way to print out this link on some quality paper ? And send me one ? thx Sickteen

Did anyone receive an insert with the new Classics Of Love EP ? I received my record today, but alas no kind of insert at all unfortunately.

Any body with any info on the druglords LP ? Also one really cool thing, that I'm not sure if it has been repoted, but the Druglords for the avenues LP has a song not listed on it, it's the last song on side b, they do a cover of the replacements song favorite thing. They did a good job.

Also, thanks for all the reply's. I didn't notice that it said 45 speed on the labels for the Copyrights LP initially, as I was to hyped to listen to it, and threw it on right away @ 33 speed, which wasn't happening so switched over to 45. On the new Druglords For the Avenues LP, it does say 33. Yet plays at 45. So this must of been a mistake during it's pressing.
