  3. Heyooooo, I need to unload some records and I'd rather not Ebay them, so I'm giving this a shot. I have an OOP The Bronx Social Club #1. Here's some info on the record: SIDE A: "A Peace In Yer Heart" (written by Charles Manson) A few months ago, we started getting into Charles Manson - his songs are terrible. They are however absolute genius in a non-traditional sense. If you can get past your preconceptions of how a song is supposed to be structured - verse, chorus, bridge etc. - then the Manson material is rather refreshing for these stale times we live in. The original version of this track is over 7 minutes long. Most critics would write it off as nonsensical jargon and utter nonsense, solely based on their need to fit everything into an equation. What those that dismiss it have failed to hear is that on this track, Manson actually switches personalities about 3 times... he cries, then gets upset, growls, unleashes a barrage of racial slurs then gets sad again, without ever repeating a line. It’s quite an experience for the open minded. We suggest you pick up the album “Commemoration” that was recorded above the chapel at Vacaville Prison where he was imprisoned. You can buy this album from White Devil Records (of course) and it’s the most listenable of all his material for those highly influenced by popular culture. Also, we added lasers at the beginning of our version - everyone loves lasers! SIDE B: "Witness (Can I Get A…?)" [featuring vox by Keith Morris] Punk blast-o-rama! We asked Keith to sing on this song because our favorite Black Flag era is when he was the singer. The highlight is in the middle of the song when Keith just loses his mind and shows an utter disregard for any sense of song structure and/or timing, and well... pretty much everything else. Keith’s essence has been captured on the track. Matt sang some back-ups and a good time was had by all. Not bad for a man that’s nearly 50 years old. Good one Keith. Pressing Information: 7" limited to 250 copies on clear vinyl with handscreened art Additional Information: Sold during Jan/Feb 2006 North American tour w/ HIGH ON FIRE The record is in MINT condition and has only been played once or twice. I've seen this record go for $10 on Ebay(Thanks Element101). If interested, hit me up at [email protected] I also have Social Club #2 that I'll be getting rid off as well, if interested, I can combine shipping for both records. If you want pics, let me know. Thanks
